We went here looking for fine food in Lima. The service was lovely, they made us feel at home. The causa acevichada was very well-balanced and it surprised me. Though, we were expecting a little more on the culinary side from a restaurant ranked 17th among all the Lina’s restaurants on TripAdvisor. Don’t get me wrong, is wasn’t bad at all, it was good in fact but not especially better than the others similar restaurants. I didn’t get the surprise I was looking for in this restaurant. The presentation was however really beautiful so maybe I was expecting the same from the taste. I don’t think this restaurant deserves the 17th place for the moment. It misses a little something that makes you remember the meal you had. Wishing...
Read moreWe were there in Oct. 2016 - just few day ago. We had a great time. The restaurant is tiny but cute and nicely decorated with some typical jungle details. Everything was very clean and the waitress very friendly. We went for lunch and were very hungry. We were pleased to see that the portions were more than fair enough - no to say to big. The dishes tasted excellent. We ordered tow "Trios" (Trilogy). This plate is very special because as far as I can remember, you could choose 3 dishes out of the menu and get kind of "sample portions" on a plate. In this way we had the opportunity to taste difference dishes at once. We had...

One of the best customer service experiences I have had in Lima. The server was attentive without hovering, checked in at all the right times for drinks, plates, and food quality checks. They also moved another table over so we could share our plates uncrowded, and unprompted.
The food was also excellent from start to finish. The aji, the pork, the chaufa. Portions were spectacular as well. This is one of the few places I would order pasta in the city. The drinks were all very nice as well but the cocktails are not my personal theme/taste. Next time I go I will be examining the wine list and over ordering again for leftovers.
