Valle Santa — Restaurant in Santa Teresa

Valle Santa Restaurant received rave reviews, so we went looking for it when in Santa Teresa in April 2019. It's tucked away, out of main view, but keep searching, it'll be worth your while. Beli received our group of eight with open arms and we got the grand tour of his restaurant, the story behind the best coffee in Peru (Dwight's) and of course enjoyed some of his truly great java. We had an amazing time in valle santa, the service was outstanding and the food even better, really cosy and frendly place with gourmet food... to make it even better the coffee was delicious, really surprising... we ordered the first day trout and a chocolate cake with lucuma icecream,and a capuccino to finish, the second day we had yuca croquets and lomo saltado. I highly recomend this place, is in the way to machupichu, and also close to the town there are hot springs that make the experience complete. Wifi service and the prices are good...

A hidden gem in the beautiful Santa Theresa - absolutely recommended if you’re staying here or passing through. Beli the owner is so lovely - we met him earlier in the day and he gave us awesome tips to explore the area. For dinner, the yuca croquettes were outstanding and tequenos were delicious.
