Terrible Service and Inedible Food!

I don’t usually write reviews, but the experience at this restaurant was so appalling that I had to warn others. From start to finish, it was an utter disaster.

The food was beyond disappointing: cold, overly salty, and utterly unappetizing. When we politely brought this to the attention of our server, J. Quispe in the Salón Principal, we were met with hostility and a level of unprofessionalism that I have never encountered in my life. Instead of addressing our concerns or apologizing, he had the audacity to call us “pendejos” right to our faces.

Such rude and disrespectful behavior is absolutely unacceptable in any establishment, let alone one that claims to be reputable. It is clear that customer service and food quality are not priorities here.

Save your time, money, and sanity and go somewhere else where you’ll be treated with basic decency and served edible food.

No suelo escribir reseñas, pero la experiencia en este restaurante fue tan espantosa que tuve que advertir a otros. De principio a fin, fue un completo desastre.

La comida era más que decepcionante: fría, demasiado salada y totalmente poco apetecible. Cuando cortésmente llamamos la atención de nuestro servidor, J. Quispe en el Salón Principal, nos encontramos con hostilidad y un nivel de falta de profesionalismo que nunca he encontrado en mi vida. En lugar de abordar nuestras preocupaciones o disculparse, tuvo la audacia de llamarnos “pendejos” directamente a nuestras caras.

Un comportamiento tan grosero e irrespetuoso es absolutamente inaceptable en cualquier establecimiento, y mucho menos en uno que dice tener buena reputación. Está claro que el servicio al cliente y la calidad de los alimentos no son prioridades aquí.

Ahorra tu tiempo, dinero y cordura y ve a otro lugar donde te traten con decencia básica y te sirvan...

Cafe placed right before the domestic security entrance. It's fairly spacious and has good views of the runway. I ordered a brownie with ice cream and they were out of the brownie, so substituted for the chocolate cake. The ice cream was okay but the chocolate cake was bad, just really dry. The other bad part about this was they charged the full price of the cake and then the ice cream, and the cake costed more than the brownie with ice cream so the bill was a lot bigger than I thought it was going to be. I also got a hot chocolate...

Overpriced and the only café open in the Cuzco airport. I really don’t know why there aren’t other options, but it is what it is. They have a good variety, but the food is subpar to the prices they’re asking. We ordered some hot chocolates which were way too sweet and sandwiches, which were pretty dry, it’s hard to do potatoes poorly, in Peru, but they brought us some soggy home fries. I wonder what kind of oils they use? I’d recommend packing food for the airport, but if you’re in a pinch, it’s an option. Just expect to pay s/50...
