My companions and I recently had the pleasure of partaking in a repast at a most delightful establishment by the name of Riot Kid. Permit me to declare, without a shred of hesitation, that the burgers were nothing short of divine. The patty, succulent and exquisitely seasoned, was a testament to culinary craftsmanship. The sauce, rich and flavorful, danced upon the palate, while the vegetables—oh! the vegetables—were of exceptional quality: crisp, fresh, and brimming with vitality.
If I may be so bold as to utter a single grievance, it is that the portion sizes did appear somewhat modest when compared to the more generously endowed burgers to which I have grown accustomed. Nevertheless, the fare was most reasonably priced, rendering such quibbles forgivable.
It is evident that Riot Kid is a house that favors excellence over excess—a philosophy I most heartily commend. To any gentle soul with a craving for a finely wrought burger at a sensible cost, I offer this recommendation most earnestly.
A brief addendum: as of May in the year of our Lord 2025, the dining quarters are, alas, closed for renovation. One must presently avail oneself of takeaway or delivery services until such time as the hall is restored to its...
Read moreIn an age where vulgar excess so often drowns out noble craft, it is with the utmost pleasure that I proclaim Riot Kid a bastion of culinary virtue—this time, in the sacred form of their buffalo chicken sandwich. This is no pedestrian poultry; it is a fiery, golden marvel, crisped to perfection and anointed in a sauce of such bold, tangy brilliance that one suspects divine intervention.
Yes, the wait may test one’s patience—indeed, time passed with the gravity of ritual—but such devotion yields reward. When at last the sandwich arrived, it did not merely satisfy; it exalted. The chicken, tender and aflame, met its match in a bun both pillowy and proud, with crisp slaw and cooling drizzle adding contrast like brushstrokes in a master’s painting.
Though the journey from kitchen to hand was not swift, it was sacred. Riot Kid does not rush greatness. Even amidst the hum of renovation, their spirit remains untouched—its heart beating still in every carefully wrapped triumph.
To any soul weary of mediocrity and yearning for a sandwich worthy of reverence, I issue this decree: wait,...
Read moreRiot Kid is a nice place to get your burger fix. They also offer hotdogs, fries, wings, and a plethora of other things greasy but yummy. It’s in the less crowded area albeit deep part of BF resort so it’s a chill place.
The diner is al fresco which is a welcome configuration in this pandemic.
The staff are nice although they can be overwhelmed by the online orders at times even if there’s no one in the diner itself—an expected pandmic phenomenon. Expect your food to be ready 20-30 mins after you order.
The burgers and sausages are juicy and delish. The buns complement the meat well and they serve the meals with a nice serving of fries and iced tea that doesn’t taste like powdered tea.
The prices are not hefty (unlike overrated shake shack lol), but dining here might set you back around 300-400 per person.
The bright colors of the diner is refreshing to the eye, plus the film posters adorning one side of the wall will test the film buff in you (I do wish they placed the posters in frames or something to make it less tacky).
Overall a good find in...
