Info dump; simply ordered a Dark Mocha Frap, and I will honestly say that I'm disappointed. There's also almost no hint of coffee, but especially the dark mocha is almost completely non-existent. The drink tastes more like a mildly dark chocolate milk drink with very small tidbits of dark chocolate in between, and the milk tastes a little stronger than the drink itself with the mild dark chocolate and missing hint of coffee- that's a big no, the milk usually shouldn't be stronger than what the drink is made to be, which is a Dark Mocha for this particular moment.
I try to be objective in my opinion and reviews, but this is just too ordinary for its price range and the taste of the drink that was offered. Hoping they improve their drinks, cause if not for its popularity and aesthetics as a coffee shop, this would be a a pretty big flaw in their business. I'm really quite disappointed, really.
And place is crowded as you'd expect, not a place to have a good cup of coffee when you want an environment that isn't as busy, although today's a Friday evening as I'm writing down this review. And not sure about this, but WiFi has free trial for only 1 hour too, that's like pretty bad- wish they had a password for the WiFi and it resets at the end of the day at least. Place is also quite big, so you can probably expect on a normal day to be able to sit down if you're only with one other person at the time you're visiting and you don't mind how busy the place is.
Also, some of the staff aren't pleasantly approachable and as professional and objective towards everyone when dealing with customers, this is from my observation. Certain, smaller coffee shops I've visited within BF Resort had better staff to engage with from my personal experience.
You don't just visit a place for the place and things they usually have to offer, like the food and drinks served there. But in fact, for the people that work there and the environment they create.
Edit: I also had requested for additional coffee and dark mocha concentrates, the whole drink was remade- but still am...
Read moreI’ve been visiting the newly opened Starbucks BF Resort Las Piñas frequently since they launched last month. While the baristas and staff haven’t remembered me yet—understandable given the number of customers—the security guard surprisingly does, which is a nice balance.
In terms of service, they consistently get my order right. I always go for an iced café mocha, no whip, non-fat, and it’s always a perfect mix—no inconsistency, whether the store is busy or not. They also take the time to confirm the correct spelling of my name, which I appreciate.
One minor comment is that some of the baristas are still getting used to the POS system, particularly with reloading starbucks card or certain payment methods, but that’s completely understandable given how new the branch is.
The ambiance is great, and I’m impressed by how they’ve integrated the store into the village. Parking is available both in front and at the back, though some people may not be aware of the additional space. Overall, I’ve had a good experience, and congrats to Starbucks Philippines for another...
Read moreIf you are looking for ng for a quiet Starbucks on weekend, this is where you should go!.. apparently most customers are students since it’s close to Elizabeth Seton. So when stopped by for coffee and dessert, it was close to empty! Sooo nice!… a Starbucks that’s not noisy nor crowded! Yay!
The coffee was strong. Our brownie was nicely heated.
If any, the girls at the counter barely smiled… what, maybe hating working on a Sunday? lol.
Anyway, now we have a new...
