Celia’s Café feels more like a diner than a typical café, but that makes it a nice spot if you are looking for a full meal rather than just coffee and pastries. They offer a good balance of selections that is not overwhelming but still enough to give variety. The menu includes rice meals, snacks, sandwiches, and even desserts, along with some coffee-based drinks and other refreshing beverages that pair well with their food.
The place itself is nicely decorated with well-chosen furniture. There are long tables that work well for groups and smaller tables for just a few people. I especially liked the extension room with glass walls, which adds a bright and open feel even though the outside view is quite simple. It was a nice touch that made the space more inviting.
Price-wise, it is mid-range and worth the value for the food you receive. I tried their omurice, which was simple but still enjoyable. Overall, it is a good place to grab a proper meal, and it feels more like a diner you would visit when you want to eat well rather than a café you would stay in for long hours.
On the downside, the location is a bit far from the city and not very easy to access if you are commuting. While it is along the road, having your own vehicle makes the trip much more convenient. The omurice I tried also did not fully give off the authentic omurice vibe, as it was mostly rice with a few vegetables wrapped in a large egg. Still, the food is decent and satisfying, making it a nice option when you want a straightforward...
Read moreOne of the only cafes in the area, and suggested as one of the restaurants to try in Alaminos. Worth noting that there is parking and a wheelchair accessible enterance.
Has seating indoors and outdoors, the former being air-conditioned. Has a typical Cafe ambiance, with books and a view of the street outside. Wash area is clean and spacious.
Food was okay, the Alaminos Longanissa Pasta being one of the best. I found some of the other dishes a little too sweet. The Blue Lemonade was way too sugary.
The bill was just under a 1000 pesos for a group of 3; who had 3 dishes, 3 drinks, and...
Read moreThis place rates up there with the best, a diamond in the rough. Typical menu items I usually see in Pasay Makati at loss leader prices. The cold beverages, soda fountain style, bistro sandwiches, Cold fish salads ( tuna), club sandwhicehes, All day western and pinoy style breakfasts are quite cordon bleu in my opinion. Appetizers are big servings and have a tex mex , noodle shop fusion. Interior is flawless and well cooled, Service is impeccable and warm. Prices for a sand which, two plates and two beverages are fast food comparable. Thank you CELIAS, you...
