Unsafe premises, not taking responsibility for their negligence, and more importantly, the management has no empathy. NEVER AGAIN!
We dined here last Sunday, February 16, 2025, to celebrate a milestone. What we thought was a fun Sunday ended up with us being in the emergency room.
My mother-in-law was admitted to the hospital and had to go through an emergency operation because her index finger was trapped in the restaurant’s automatic glass door leading to their comfort rooms. Her index finger was deeply wounded (2 cuts to be exact) and its bone was fractured as well. The doorjamb of this automatic door was sharp, almost like a knife, which caused the deep cuts and the fractured bone. The staff and even the manager working that night were aware. No one even assisted us to get medical help.
We were traumatized, anxious during my mother-in-law’s hospital confinement, and frustrated because they were not being responsive when we asked about the management’s plan. They only said sorry and “we did not want it to happened but it was accident po”. An accident which happened because of your unsafe premises!
This accident cost the family a lot of money and the management told us that they will NOT cover the medical expenses nor help in any way. We are truly...
Read moreGood food, not salty like in some other restaurants. We've tried different dishes in our several visits here. We've never been disappointed so far. Most of the staff are polite/courteous and knew what they were doing. Of course, there are always one or two not-so-good personnel in every workplace, especially in service establishments. But if most are good, you can just ignore those lacking the ability to work in the food serving sector. Perhaps they were just tired or unsatisfied with their jobs or wages. Perhaps they're still in the adjustment stage. Forgiveable. Everybody deserves the benefit of the doubt. Update: The last time we had dinner here was on Nov. 24, 2023. The food become a bit salty. I don't know why. Maybe the chefs/cooks are new? Another update: We brought my mom-in-law here last Saturday for lunch after she asked us for a good place to eat. Instead of trying a new restaurant at the SM City Clark's Skyline ground floor, we drove here. She ordered pinakbet and we orered the other usual dishes that we liked. Some of the vegetables innthe pinakbet seemed not fresh, especially tje eggplant which was hard and dark insode. The pinakbet my other half prepares at home tastes...
Read moreWe ate here last February 12, 2022 around 11 am. The Food and Ambience were really good so we keep coming back. Orders arrive between 20-30 minutes, a bit too long though. Considering they have a lot of staff and all.
Tempura Platter: P 490 for 6 pcs of medium sized prawns plus a slice of eggplant, zucchini and pumpkin wrapped also in a tempura batter. Delicious. Price would be worth it if prawns were bigger. 4/5
Daeji Galbi: P 380 This comes with fresh lettuce, Caramelized onions, garlic, a spicy lettuce salad and a spicy sauce. The meat itself has a distinct bbq taste which we really love, close to the bbq marinade my mother cooks. 5/5
Towoomba Pasta: P 490 Tasted this when we ate at Outback in Glorietta and since then I was looking for it here in Angeles City. This one comes pretty close. Though this one seems to be Authentic because resto owners are Koreans. Though for me something is still lacking with the taste. 4/5
Caesar Salad: P 270 for a generous serving had a lot of bacon bits and croutons and a delicious dressing. 5/5
Haneol(something) Jiggae: P 380 not worth it. Just a simple spicy soup with a piece of shrimp, few mussels and squid rings and some...
