Kanto Freestyle Breakfast - Angono — Restaurant in Angono

We stopped by this restaurant for an early breakfast before heading to a spa resort in Antipolo.The shop has an inviting ambiance. What truly sets it apart are the stunning art installations, showcasing the works of local artists, and the well-thought-out design. The walls can even open up, creating a versatile and airy space.

The staff were polite and attentive. The guard kindly led us to the extension of their parking area which was just right beside the cafe. The crew promptly served us water and a bucket of ice without us even asking. Food service was also quick and all of the dishes were served hot, although we ordered a variety of items from the menu.

We ordered our choice of coffee, the cappuccino , caramel macchiato and the kapeng barako. Their cappucino was perfectly brewed with a rich, smooth flavor, and the barista created a beautiful latte art on top.

Of course we didn’t forget to buy their bestsellers, the New Zealand Beef Tapa and the Honey Garlic Chicken. Both dishes definitely lived up to their reputation. We also had to try their Build your own breakfast combo and the Pancake Platter which were equally impressive. All of which we were pleasantly surprised by the generous portion sizes and each were also served in colorful unique ceramic plates, adding to the charm of the dining experience.

Overall, the Kanto Freestyle Breakfast Cafe is a great place to enjoy breakfast with a cup of coffee, and appreciate both the artwork & the thoughtful design of the cafe. I'll definitely be coming back to try more items from their menu the next time we’re going around Rizal. Highly...

Very disappointing experience at this restaurant.

My family had dinner at this restaurant. It was not too busy when we arrived, so I went to the counter and ordered the sharing items from the menu, as we were a party of 10. A few minutes later, one of the staff went to our table to inform me that they had made a mistake in the punching of our order, and I needed to pay an additional amount. So again, I went to the counter and settled everything.

During service, since our order was sharing items, they served it on a platter. They had not served the rice yet. No tongs or serving gear on the platters, not even a plate set up on the table. I must stand up and beg for plates and tongs and the rice because our food is getting cold.

While we were already eating, I noticed that I had one dish missing. So again, I went to the cashier to check. I found out that he forgot to punch my other order. I asked if there was a supervisor or manager on duty so I could raise my concerns, but the cashier said there was none. The cashier’s name was Louie, and he was attending to my problems, but he was insulting. He was not apologetic for his shortcomings and was inefficient. Very poor service considering our average check was 380 per person. Value for money failed. The place looked nice from the outside, very inviting, which is why we decided to eat there. But honestly, the experience was super disappointing. The staff weren’t welcoming at all, and the ones at the counter had major attitude. (The girl on the left)

My friend gave them a whole ₱1,000 bill to pay, and they refused to accept it just because they said they only take the exact amount. Like seriously? It’s not even like they had to give back a huge amount! Konti na lang isusukli sa ₱1,000.

Ako na yung pumunta sa cashier kasi ayaw na bumalik ng friend ko because tinarayan nga daw sya. I handed the money. When they opened the cash drawer, ang daming panukli, especially coins and smaller bills! Yet they still gave us such a rude attitude.

The woman in the photo was showing obvious attitude right in front of us which is very unprofessional. Then as we were leaving, they gave us dirty looks and even laughed at us.

I really hope there’s CCTV at the counter so management can see how their staff treat customers. Sayang, the place looks good from the outside, but the service?...
