IZAKAYA SHINCHAN — Restaurant in Bacoor

Just the other day (Thursday) I dropped by to have some Ramen and Sashimi. To my surprise all of the staff who were working there and who served us for years were all removed amd replaced. Since I was hungry (and craving) I started to order and so I ate. I noticed that the Pechay Baguio on my bowl had dark stains like it was sliced a day before and one piece was already half rotten. I didnt finish my Ramen and complained to the waiter. All he said was sorry and that was the only atonement that was given to me. I will not come back there anymore since they did not give importance to the fact that I have been a customer for several years and I did not deserve a half rotten pechay and old slices of it either. I sincerely hope that their cost cutting efforts will not affect the freshness and taste of their food...

Recommended Chillax Japanese restaurant in Bacoor Cavite. Ambiance wise, they have a lot of going when you enter. They have a small grocery store inside and some vending machines as well, which a bit typical in some parts of Japan as well. Small seating capacity, private room for small meetings and alfresco dining. I really liked the Ebi Tempura. The size and taste is just right for the price. The Beef gyudon is just ok, a bit bland. The Tofu Steak had a good taste, however the tofu they used is not the soft tofu that is usually used for Japanese food, it's more like the tofu used for Philippine food (tokwa at baboy). This little Japanese spot may be small, but it packs a punch when it comes to authentic flavors. The portions are generous and perfect for sharing. The staff is always friendly and attentive. Every time I visit, I can't resist ordering their delicious ramen (I think it's called charsui) and their crispy fried maki roll. Plus, the prices are very reasonable for the quality of the food.
