I am writing to express my deep disappointment regarding the experience I had at your store in Molino Blvd, Bacoor Cavite, where my request for a PWD discount was unjustly rejected. During my visit, I presented my daughter’s PWD ID, as she is a registered Person with Disability, and we were denied the discount despite her being present in the store at that time. I was told that cakes are not eligible for the PWD discount, which I find troubling and unfair.

PWDs, like my daughter, deserve the opportunity to enjoy desserts and special treats, just like anyone else. The daily challenges they face are already immense, and for us as parents, it's often about finding small moments of joy for them. The rejection of the discount was not just about the financial aspect, but the feeling of being treated differently, and frankly, it felt like discrimination.

It is important to note that the PWD discount is mandated by the government, and I believe all businesses should honor it as part of their responsibility to support and uplift the PWD community. I’m unsure if this is a company-wide policy or if it was an isolated incident at your store, but such experiences can leave lasting negative impressions. If this is your policy, I would like to understand the rationale behind excluding cakes from the PWD discount.

We have been loyal customers of Contis for many years, purchasing cakes for every special occasion. However, after this incident, I feel compelled to share my experience publicly so that other PWDs and their families are aware of how your store handles PWD discounts.

The damage has been done, and it is unfortunate that such a small gesture of inclusion, in line with government mandates, was not extended. I hope that you take this complaint seriously and review your policies, so that no other family has to experience the same disappointment.

Since I cannot give 3.5 stars I opted for 4. Here's why I wanted to give them just 3.5 stars. Let's start with the most important food! Baked salmon which is one of the most expensive items on the menu is good, the cheesy baked mac is also good, the grilled pork chop is nice as well, the blueberry cheesecake was good and the fresh brewed iced tea is freshingly nice. The buffalo wings are meh, taste like the sauce was made out of banana catsup and the chicken BBQ which I ordered for myself is 👎 stay away from this one. The serving size considering they are on the pricey side is conservative and if you are starving won't satiate your hunger.
