CUSTOMER SERVICE IS WAY WAY BELOW INDUSTRY STANDARDS.
The first time we ate here, we were given wrong food orders and the guy who served us is really arrogant. I asked if they have 50% off promo of a certain credit card and he said in a very arrogant manner that the promo is applicabe for dine-in only. Food for take out will be billed separately. The arrogant server memorized our order since he did not bother to take note. Well most of our orders were correct while there were others that were wrong. For peace sake, we just kept mum about it and accepted the orders and proceeded to eat then left after paying.
The second visit was way worst. It was 8pm when we arrived at their store which is an hour before the closing of the NOMO mall. With me are my husband, my mother who is a senior citizen, and my kids (4 years old and 3 month old baby). The same arrogant server during our first visit greeted us saying that they do not accept dine-in transaction anymore even if it just 8pm. We can order take-out only which doesn’t make sense by the way. Since its past dinner, we decided to proceed to Hap Chan, a restaurant within the same floor as Pancake House. Hap Chan servers openly welcomed us without hesitations.
While waiting for our food in Hap Chan, I decided to give feedback to the arrogant server. First, I asked him if it is within their company policy not to accept dine-in customers when its 8pm. He said no. He further added something like, “gusto nyo pa po ba kumain. Ang serving time po namin is 30 to 45 minutes tapos magsasara ang mall ng 9 pm” Reading at other reviews here, it seemed like the commited serving time is not 30-45 mins but 15-20 mins. So meaning the arrogant server may have lied with their serving time just to shoo us away. Besides, this is the first restaurant I’ve eaten which does not accept dine-in customers an hour before closing.
Well not all Pancake House are this bad. Their branch in Silang is one of our favorites. Aside from the fresh ingredients, the servers are very attentive and respectful.
This NOMO branch is worst of the branches so far. Please do not eat here. Spend your money somewhere else so your dining experience will...
