I can't entirely put the blame on the staff alone but their location is a high traffic, extremely busy store. Compounded with lots of orders, understaffing, cramped store space, underwhelming interiors and unkempt cleanliness.
I have visited this store a couple of times and seen the same result in each visit. No wonder others have the same 1-star review. I have raised my concern with corporate level management and the local store manager has contacted me and personally apologized for the inconvenience.
Needless to say, my complaint stems from a subpar level of service and the error in crediting my Supercard which could resulted in missed points and raffle entries if i did not do my due diligence in checking my receipt. Read moreWe are very disappointed with the service my family and I received during our recent visit to your’s Mamplasan branch for lunch. Upon our arrival, no staff approached us to offer a menu. We had to call someone ourselves after 10 minutes of waiting just to receive one. After placing our order with one of the crew members, we waited for over 30 minutes with no update or food served. When we followed up, we were informed that our order had not even been submitted and we have to wait for another half hour. This experience was frustrating and highly unprofessional. We chose Shakey’s expecting a certain standard of service, but unfortunately, our experience fell far short. Granted, it was the middle of the afternoon on a non-holiday, but we were seated quickly, the staff were attentive and helpful, the food was great and arrived quickly, the kitchen and dining area were bright and clean, and I loved the music they were playing in the store.
