The Starbucks Story
Back then, the company was a single store in Seattle's historic Pike Place Market. From just a narrow storefront, Starbucks offered some of the world's finest fresh-roasted whole bean coffees. The name, inspired by Moby Dick, evoked the romance of the high seas and the seafaring tradition of the early coffee traders.
In 1981, Howard Schultz (Starbucks chairman and chief executive officer) had first walked into a Starbucks store. From his first cup of Sumatra, Howard was drawn into Starbucks and joined a year later.
In 1983, Howard traveled to Italy and became captivated with Italian coffee bars and the romance of the coffee experience. He had a vision to bring the Italian coffeehouse tradition back to the United States. A place for conversation and a sense of community. A third place between work and home. He left Starbucks for a short period of time to start his own II Giornale coffeehouses and returned in August 1987 to purchase Starbucks with the help of local investors.

Read moreProbably our favorite Starbucks branch! Starbucks Pav is undoubtedly a standout among the Starbucks branches I've visited. One of the most frustrating experiences with chain coffee shops is the inconsistency in the taste of your favorite drinks across different locations. However, Starbucks Pav seems to have cracked the code with a consistently perfect blend that suits my taste buds every time I visit.
What sets this branch apart is not only the exceptional coffee but also its aesthetically pleasing ambiance. The mid-century modern style of the branch adds a unique charm, providing a cool and inviting atmosphere despite its glass walls.
The staff at Starbucks Pav, particularly the baristas, contribute significantly to the positive experience. The baristas are not only skilled at their craft but also incredibly friendly — Shoutout to our favorite barista, Jizel!
Lstly, hassle-free parking makes it the most convenient choice. This branch has become our go-to for a reliably enjoyable coffee outing. Highly...
Read moreThe place is chill and a great place to have a meeting with friends, family or just to catch up on one's readings. There are times that it would be very noisy due to the fact that there are so many people coming in and ordering their favorite drink. I especially like it when there are so many activities happening but bear in mind that people still respect the privacy of each other. What I like the best is the long table they have in the middle which is just the right height when reading or writing something. Also, bring a jacket, scarf or anything to keep you warm because it will get chilly except when ordering a hot beverage. All in all, the ambience is great, the staff are nice and very accommodating. I would definitely recommend...
