The vegan food there was delicious. We ate the vegan adaptation of sisig and adobo. I tried vegan adobo and sisig also in other places in the Philippines and this one was outstanding. And also the pineapple shake was a delight. The service and Ambiente besides the river was also nice. Can recommend it to everyone! Especially if you get satisfied by trying local food but still want to eat vegan.

An addition to the Hotel on site ( Loboc River Resort , 5 🌟 review ) , Venia's Kitchen had great , fresh foods and amazing staff that focused on us . I tried variety of foods on menu which cover not just Filipino cuisine but others too .... all were very fresh and tasty.

The staff was helpful and friendly. The food arrived in a timely manner. Everything we ordered was very good and the scenery was nice. Open air dining beside the river. The surrounding area can be flooded at times because of the river.

Please look for a new chef! Staff is very friendly and quick. Only when the card payment did not work they were quite busy with that and didn‘t pay attention. We had Teriyaki Beef for Dinner and Phat Thai for Lunch. Both sauces tasted kind of similar and none of them were Teriyaki or Fish-Oyster sauce. Please look up how they are made or don‘t name them after iconic dishes. The Phat Thai had nothing to do with a Phat Thai except for the rice noodles. Maybe this might be a vegan interpretation of Phat Thai? Deep Fried Lemon Chicken was not deep fried and sauce contained way to much sugar. We also had the Seafood Pizza which was okay (don‘t try if...

The staff just mope around and take zero interest in serving customers. Every single time I came I sat at the table for at least 15 minutes before having to get up and go ask for the menu. One time I did so the woman was visibly upset with me, sorry to bother I guess?? Even worse with breakfast, 5 members of staff on the floor, only 2 other tables apart from me already eating, 15 minutes later someone finally came over to ask if I’d like a drink. Where’s the manager? Have the staff been trained once?

Food’s mediocre, someone else pointed out a simple salad is priced same as a plate of meat/seafood and it’s a...

Food was good and the setting is beautiful but the service was shamefully bad. There were more staff than customers yet they spent most of the time clearing leaves from the floor or staring into space! We had to ask 4 times for our drinks which were finally made after 25 minutes (10 minutes after the food arrived - excluding a forgotten rice dish that we were charged for). Even once made, the drinks sat at the bar with the waiters taking no notice, I had to walk to the bar and collect the drinks myself. No acknowledgment of the...
