While the location was convenient, I had a rather uncomfotable stay, which I feel compelled to share for potential guests to consider before booking.
Surprise Deposit: Upon check-in, we were asked for a Php 1,000 deposit with no prior notice—nothing on the booking platform or from the hotel directly. It would have been nice to have been informed beforehand to avoid the surprise. Payment Issues: There is no problem on the deposit as it will be refunded upon checkout but we didn't have cash for the deposit and were forced to pay by card, with a 0.4% processing fee. This could have been avoided if the deposit policy was clearly communicated. Unprofessional Staff: When I raised concerns about the lack of written deposit policy on the booking platform, the front desk staff responded with a dismissive "REALLY?" rather than apologetic or addressing the issue politely. Not the customer service I expected in the hospitality industry that should focus on resolving issues with care. Lack of Hospitality: The front desk staff was not welcoming or or warm at all. She didn’t seem suited for a role in the hospitality industry. Her demeanor was indifferent, and it left a negative first impression which made our stay uncomfortable. Room Cleanliness: The room was not very clean, with some areas clearly overlooked. No Elevator: This can be problematic, especially if you have heavy luggage or are staying on higher floors. Breakfast Payment Confusion: The same front desk staff asked us to pay for breakfast, even though it was included in our booking. This seemed like a system error or lack of communication...
Read moreVery bad experience with this hotel (April 10, 2023). I booked via RedDoorz App with a "SALE" room which should be good for 2 pax. Clearly booked it for 2 pax. Room photos even has a doble bed. But then upon arrival, I was informed that the room assigned to me is only for single occupancy. WE WAITED FOR A TERRIFIC 3 HOURS WITH BACK AND FORTH CALLS FROM RED DOORZ CUSTOMER SERVICE BUT STILL NO CONCRETE SETTLEMENT FROM REDDOORZ OR HOTEL MANAGEMENT. Owner even left the property during this time, not answering her staff's calls, very unprofessional, making communication very hard. Then RedDoorz told us they've already "upgraded" us to a double room with no extra charge, but hotel staff wouldn't believe us unless owner says so - again, owner is nowhere to be found and unreachable via call. I'm not the type to post bad reviews but I am just really frustrated. We arrived at this place just really wanting to get some rest after around 10hrs of travel from Siargao, and this is what we get????!!!!!! Had to entitely leave the place and find a new one instead. REALLY REALLY UNPLEASANT AND...
Read moreDuring my recent stay at this hotel. I encountered several issues that left a negative impression. One notable incident involved a friend who wasn't a registered guest asking to use the guest comfort room downstairs. Instead of responding professionally, the receptionist chose to say, "Oh, it's our responsibility now," which came across as unprofessional and dismissive. I also found the hotel's policies to be overly strict for a 2 or 3-star establishment. For example, guests are not allowed to bring food outside their rooms, which limited our dining flexibility. Furthermore, the hotel's food options were not diverse, which was disappointing. To top it off, upon checkout, I was unexpectedly charged 250 pesos for a pen stain on the sheets, despite not having any pens in my belongings during my stay.
Hotels have different rules and that is why guests ASK, but i bet there is also a problem with your staffs because i have also read bad feedback towards them. And damaged sheets will no longer be used? when in fact the sheets was given to them had already...
