Service: Needs Improvement Food: Very Good Ambiance: Very Good – Traditional Filipino House Parking: Ample and Convenient We visited this restaurant on a weekend, which is understandably a busy time. However, the service left much to be desired. Upon entering, staff saw us but offered no greeting or menu. After waiting for about 5 minutes, I had to approach the cashier myself just to request a menu. The staff initially appeared inattentive and somewhat unfriendly, perhaps due to the volume of guests, but even during peak hours, a simple smile or greeting goes a long way in providing good customer service. Food service was quite slow, although the dishes were delicious and well-prepared. It’s also worth noting that they don’t accept credit card payments, which is surprising for a well long running established restaurant in a prime location, especially in a city-like area with businesses like S&R nearby. Overall, the food and ambiance were enjoyable, but the management may want to consider increasing staff during peak hours. Even simple requests like water or condiments were difficult to fulfill, as the team was clearly overwhelmed.

This is a classic family restaurant that was once located in the city of Dagupan but had to move because their rent from their original place has already expired. They moved to the neighboring town of Calasiao. They had always serve good food for decades and our favorites are the binagoongang pata, sizzling bangus steak, pakbet Tagalog, and sinigang na Malaga. You can never go wrong with these dishes. You can also order Dagupan bangus for traveling because they keep them in vacuum sealed bags. The service is quite good too because they have seasoned staff that has been with them for ages. However, there is a slight attitude since they have been there for such a long time already the ambience also good because they maintained the classic Filipino decor inspired with copies shell windows that came from the original building and Spanish tiles.

Came to the restaurant by recommendation. Tried their Bangus steak and pinakbet. The bangus steak was absolutely delicious! served on a sizzling plate, coming out hot and perfectly cooked. Flavor was rich, savory, and very satisfying. Marinade was well balanced. Highly recommend if you are a Bangus lover and around Dagupan! Service was warm and welcoming. The staff might not be really experienced, but I learned that Dagupena hire individuals who haven't finished school as a way to give them a chance which I truly admire and appreciate. Overall, I love the atmosphere and would definitely recommend. I'd love to go back whenever I drop by Dagupan.
