This is a quaint Filipino bistro. Nicely decorated. The people running this place really seem to be making an effort, and it shows.
It may well be one of the nicest places to dine in Bogo.
They know how to 'velvet' meats so they are a bit more tender. A few other touches indicate they go beyond the basic Filipino Kitchen. Food is low in salt compared to most Filipino tastes, which I appreciate. A few more touches hint that maybe the kitchen is tailored more to a foreigner, though I would appreciate a little more spice in the dishes.
Biggest downside were the acoustics. It gets loud in the small place. Materials used do not dapen the noise.

Read moreAt the outset Ze Marco doesn't look like much from the outside. Parking is limited. What makes this restaurant stand out is the food.
Their claim to fame is "bacolod's best fried chicken" and it is tasty to be sure, but so was everything we ordered off the menu.
The service was great and the food still sizzling when it got to the table. The prices were reasonable for the five of us.
If you are hungry for a lunch meal and find yourself in Bogo City definitely make the effort to check it out.

They must have forgotten about the second food which was honey garlic chicken. It took 50 minutes for the second order to arrive. The humba and rice were already cold by the time the chicken was served. Bottomline, I was unhappy with the humba which came first, and my companion starved waiting for his order.
