I have visited Dad Joe's before, but this was my first time trying the breakfast. My wife and I bought the Classic Pancakes, French toast, Bacon/Eggs/Garlic rice, and the Omelet.
Although everything was delicious, I enjoyed the pancakes the most. They were thick, fluffy and taste amazing.
The bacon/eggs/garlic rice were delicious as well. It was my first time having garlic rice and it was different, but I enjoyed it.
The French toast were also good. My only issue is that I wish their was a little bit more powdered sugar on them (but that's just my personal preference)
The Omelet was huge, big enough for 2 people. It was cooked with bacon, cheddar cheese and mushrooms. The Omelet was good, but my only concern was that it was cooked with too much oil and it took away from the omelet a little.
Overall I was greatly satisfied with the food and the service. The atmosphere was clean, relaxing, and comfortable. This was my second time going to Dad Joe's while visiting the Philippines and it won't...

The truffle mushroom chowder can be a meal on its own! Super savory with an umami-ness to it. I am sure I will be craving it again!
The crispy pork kare kare has a slightly more sweet flavor compared to traditional kare kare. This was a pleasant surprise, as the crispy lechon, bagoong and the slightly sweeter peanut butter sauce balanced each other out really well. Nice touch on the knotted green beans too!
The American pork adobo is also a different take on traditional adobo. It's like a super tender, braised pork with a thicker adobo glaze and poached egg. This was the clear winner for me!
The dirty rice was a nice complement to the entire meal.
All in all, this is a great place to eat. I look forward to...
Read moreThe friendliness of the waiter is 5 star. Let's start with the chowder. It's really good except for the raw green Bell pepper. It doesn't compliment the soup at all. Way too strong. The Philly cheese steak is awful. 80% of the so called meat are plain fats! Bell pepper was raw. It should be sautéed. The cheese was questionable. It didn't even melt and it seems like it was some kind of an old rotten cheese from somewhere by its looks and smell. The burger was salty, and the pickled Jalapeños are spoiled. And that made the burger taste weird. I asked them to put the pickled jalapeños on the side. The taste of the Philly cheese steak could've been worse. The fries are good and the citrus slush drink are pure citrus , just way too sweet.
No, I...
