The Anonymous Garden — Restaurant in Dagupan

Dining at The Anonymous Garden was truly one for the books. We booked a dinner for a friend’s birthday and were surprised to find out they only accept two reservations per lunch/dinner—so we had a private, air-conditioned room with beautiful Thai-inspired design all to ourselves. There’s also a charming al fresco garden that adds to the vibe. It really felt like we stumbled upon a hidden gem.

The vibe was so warm and intimate, and we were looked after by Sir Lennon, probably the kindest and most attentive server I’ve ever met. He made us feel so welcome! 🥰

The food was absolutely incredible. We had Thai Salad, Shrimp Cakes, Steamed Fish in Lime, Shrimp Curry, Beef Red Curry, and Sticky Mango Rice. Everything was fresh, flavorful, and hands-down the best Thai food we’ve ever had.

Chef Malou even came by to check on us and shared a little bit about how this special concept came to be, which made the night feel even more personal. And then Sir John, the owner, stopped in and treated us to a complimentary Beef Red Curry with Lychees—unreal. The kind of thing you don’t forget. It felt less like dining at a restaurant and more like being invited into someone’s home. The hospitality, the stories, the food—it was all on another level.

I am already planning to come back for my mom’s birthday. I really hope they bring this food to Manila someday. One for the books. Thank you for such a special night!

Didn't really expect much as Dagupan, for us at least, have not been great for food choices.

The booking process was easy - there is no walking in to eat.

The venue is beautiful. It was raining when we went and the room we were in was facing the river - it was wonderful. Clean, nicely decorated and serene.

Now, the food.

Every single dish we ordered was delicious! We ordered a variety of dishes and they did not disappoint at all.

The portion sizes were generous and we ended up taking most of the food home.

The service team was very attentive and gracious.
