Gringa Tapaz Bar — Restaurant in Davao City

A 24-hour open place. a cool, with vintage vibes and collectors-item theme. However, food was not worth it for its price. The music is too loud despite us requesting to lower the volume down. They do not encourage people to stay and study. And they would prefer you order at least every hour, a ticket for you to stay and tambay :) Their servers were not friendly at all. They were not even smiling, ang rude pa sumagot.

What's worse is that, despite of how much food we bought and even played thrice on their arcade machine, they still kicked us out because we were not ordering food anymore (one of my friends just ordered a latte btw) and a worker specifically verbalized "lain na kaayo mog gina pang sturya" and we were literally just was talking about their vulgar displays of miniatures on their shelves.

They were targetting us even though the place was not packed. The other customers beside us only ordered two coffees and kept going outside then back inside for almost 3 hours already. Di naman sila sinita, why us?

Our first time experience but it was very disappointing and not customer-friendly. I hope next time they'll do better but we won't be...

chicken skins - 11/10 dude, it’s literally so crisSssSspyyy!! much better if the vinegar was more spicy hehe

beef tapa - not the usual beef tapa that we get. this one’s a bit unique cause it’s not served with rice, but a bread instead. bro, the tapa tastes like pizza na ewan which made it more delicious. IT WAS SO FLAVORFUL. my favorite from what we ordered 🤌🏻🤍

vanilla and matcha frappe - omgggg they are so gooooooood. my new fav matcha frappe na 💚

slow cooked pork belly - an 8.5/10 for me. medjo di ko bet ang sauce from the pork belly cause it’s too sweet for me but i love the marinated bokchoy (?) cause it balances the sweetness that i get from the slow cooked pork belly 🤌🏻 it was so tender, and melts in your mouth.

this place is really nice! i ordered the slow cooked pork belly & matcha latte while my friend got the ala king & tapa thingy.

the pork belly was really delicious! i enjoyed eating the greens as well. the meat and veggies were seasoned to my taste & made me super full 😋 however, i'm not the biggest fan of the matcha latte. i always try the matcha drink of each place i go to, and it's just meh here. pero that's just my taste; you might like it!

i enjoyed the fact that there are board games available. it's a fun thing to do while waiting for your order :) the tables are a bit too low for me tho. i'm pretty tall, so i have to crouch a bit to eat my food. it's not super inconvenient tho hehe.
