This is one of my go-to place whenever I am craving for spicy foods. Affordable price ranging from 60.00 to 100.00 pesos, you can enjoy eating one of the main dishes in Zamboanga. As it is halal, our muslim brothers and sisters can also dine here.
The sauce is really delicious. It has the right amount of spiciness, saltiness and sweetness to it so it really goes well with chicken and beef. The meat is also tender so you won't have any problems chewing on it. Though the beef bbq portioning could use some improvements to it.
Staff are very kind and accomodating! They even let us take videos of the place because of our project.
If you are feeling thirsty, they have water bottle and Cola available. But if you want other drinks, 7/11 is also nearby.
During lunch really is their highest peak. So if you have any plans to go here then go early as they have limited spacing, tables and...
Read moreWe went there almost 1pm and all they had was beef and chicken satti. Beef and chicken were seasoned well, the sauce was thick and delicious. The serving for the chicken satti was reasonable at 99php. But the beef satti doesn’t seem enough for 97php, super bitin. They were bit pricey considering Yong’s Satti is an open, crowded, carenderia-style place. And don’t get confused with their photos since it seems like there’s a lot of rice, but in reality it’s just one small puso per meal set that’s cut in half. It was a bit misleading. The queue was absurdly long. They were clearly disorganized, with just one person manning the food counter and cashier, and only one person doing the bbq and sauce. They don’t look like they know how to manage their supply and they were struggling to keep up with the demand at peak hours. Will probably try again in the future if their system...
Read moreTypical food stand that served one of my fave dish. Satti or Satey, originated in Indonesia and grew in Zamboanga, and finally found it here in Dava City. A must taste food, and if your missing Zamboanga come over here to get a taste. Food tasted great, the sauce complimented the Chicken Barbeque and Rice. The place is by the road and you might not enjoy the food if you like classy but for street junkies the place is good, at a price of Php85.00 you get to taste a somewhat Moro or Sulu originated Dish. Parking space is good you just need to find a place to squeeze in, no CR since it's a road stall. I gave it a 5 star since food tasted like how it did in...
