Hukad — Restaurant in Iligan

When it said the serving was good for 3, we expected a generous portion, so we confirmed with the waiter beforehand to avoid any misled and surprises. However, when the food arrived, we were quite disappointed as it was barely enough for one person.

The Bangus was only about the size of a handbreadth, and the Sinigang na Hipon contained just four hipon. Thankfully, we ordered unli rice to supplement the meal, but even that felt undesirably, considering the effort it took to get their attention a few times kasi ang liit ng lalagyan ng kanin.

I was also caught off guard when I learned that the ice cream for our halo-halo would be charged separately. That was very very unexpected. Moreover, the pitcher of pinapple cucumber we ordered was packed with ice instead of being a refreshing drink.

We just went here for lunch, Just now. Service crew just looked at us when we entered, walang greeting or anything. Unlike other hukad restaurants that I’ve been to. Most items on their menu are not available too if you dine here later than lunch. The most disappointing thing that happened is that we waited for more than 30mins for our order but then maling foods na receive namin. We informed them na maling order so they had to follow up to their kitchen then told us we have to wait for another 30 minutes. Wala man lang apologies for serving the wrong dish, for the inconvenience, and for the long wait. Service really sucks here, FOR US. I don’t know...

Absolute disgraceful service. Too busy standing around talking. The food is amongst the most disgusting i have ever been served in a restaurant. Left sitting at the table waiting for drinks to arrive after the food was already on the table. Eggplant was not cooked and still hard. Kan kong had dirt in it from not being washed before cooking. Beans were like rocks from being undercooked. Iced tea was like sweet mud. In all of Iligan City this is without a doubt the most disgusting food i have ever had. Shame on the owners of this place....
