I visited the store on a weekday holiday, finding it quiet with only two other customers. Despite this, neither of the two staff members acknowledged my arrival or presence at the counter. The staff member at the register did not make eye contact, and the other staff member had his back to me while cleaning.
After placing and paying for my order, I received no verbal acknowledgment from the staff. While I initially wondered if the staff member had a hearing impairment, this did not appear to be the case.
This experience was markedly different from my previous visits to other Coffeebreak locations in Iloilo City, which are typically characterized by warm and courteous service.
The drink was prepared by the taller male staff member and served by the shorter one, who was also at the register.
