It's a good enough choice if you're looking for a convenient place to stay that's relatively safe and clean. Located beside John B. Lacson Molo, this hotel is right next to a convenience store, and is rather near commercial establishments and malls. I've been booking friends here for the last 3 years. Staff are generally friendly and accommodating, though may take time to answer or be of help. Depending on the room you booked, most are spacious enough and include a dresser, sitting area, cabinet, and TV. Deluxe rooms and above include a plated breakfast, Standard rooms have none. All in all, if you just need a safe place to rest your head, this comes highly recommended, particularly during off season (from Feb to Oct).

Poorly maintained property. You can get hotel as cheap but well maintained. We booked 2 rooms for 2 nights. One of the room given to us smells musty, with blinking light, not cleaned, ac not cooling and flush not functioning. That's Room 211. My companions were transfered to Room 302 better looking room but selector valve is not functioning for the shower and bath spout. We ended up asking for a pail and dipper. Gigantes Island is beautiful and other sites but La Fiesta will be the one bad experience among the good ones in Iloilo.

The front desk and all the staff we encountered is fast and helpful. The location is great and optimal, they even have a cafe and 7/11 on the 1st floor. Unfortunately, the room we got has faulty and squeaky beds, the comfort room smelled like cigarettes, the floor was sticky and the television had very limited channels available. Since we booked it for cheap through agoda, we just dealt with it but maybe they could take better care of the rooms and facilities.

Going there:||The hotel is not hard to find, from the airport, you will take the long Diversion road (which is the national highway of the city) and as soon as you reach a bridge with a nice river, it is almost there.||||The hotel isn't too far from SM, or any places to go to, it is not even far from the hip places near the business district. There's a 711 downstairs so it is very convenient to get something to eat or drink.||||Hotel experience/facilities||I would say, the hotel is an old structure. I can tell with the interiors. It is quite dark inside, and has an "old smell" (but it doesn't stink - it's just like an old, wardrobe smell haha!)||I stayed there for a night. Actually, the room is really nice! beds are well kept, with clean sheets, the room is actually clean but there are few things that other might find it irritating. The remote in the TV has no batteries, some plug outlets seems to don’t have power, the room’s fridge is smelly and dirty. The shower room is fine - it’s not the best there is, but it has working heater both in the lavatory and the shower area. It is clean, it’s just it has an old smell to it.||||The hallways of the hotel is a bit dark, because of the all-wood wall dressing, it has an old vibe to it. I really don’t mind because I only stayed there for a night.||||The room has working AC, it is nice, and quiet in there. They have a wifi connection, but it was terrible. If you are intending to do some work in that hotel, I suggest you find a place, say near SM or business district for a good internet connection. It is really slow, so it is only good for emails and that’s about it.||||Staff||The staff are really nice, they are accommodating, polite and not too snobby. The place is well guarded and safe.||||Overall||I think the hotel is good - given with the facilities they have, it is not the best experience but if you intend to stay 1-2 nights in the city, that’s fine, but don’t expect too much from it. Like I said, it is only good for few days stay...

This is clearly one of the less desirable hotels I've ever stayed at. Well, I was looking for cheap but cheap can be clean and neat, at least.||||Upon entering the lobby, there was one receptionist and she was not the sunniest of persons around. I mean, you are a frontliner. Not very accommodating when I had some questions as well. ||||Fast forward to my room, it was big and spacious, yes. But the bed was creaky and not so friendly to one's posture because you kind of sink into the bed. The drapes were sloppy, toilet was just ok, could have been cleaned more. ||||But what scared me the most, albeit too late in realizing it, was that the ceiling in my toilet was open! I have not noticed it the night before but the next day, I heard people working somewhere either the top level or the ceiling. I was so bothered at first because it was just me there. I just hoped the staff could have informed me about repairs happening. ||||I own a small travel agency and usually I talk to management of a hotel for a possible tie-up but in this case, I did not do it. Heck no! ||||There are a lot of cheap places but are presentable but this one, not one bit. I just stayed there bec I just needed a place to crash in for the night and somewhere near where I have to go the next day. Hope they do major changes on the property. It has location potential but crappy in everything else that I have...

I'm trying to compose myself as I'm typing this because I'm still very angry of what's happening. We are still literally here, I'm in my towel with shampoo on my head because NOBODY INFORMED US THAT THEY WILL BE DOING MAINTENANCE, AND THAT THERE WILL BE NO WATER!!!! The worse part was that I went down, talked to reception to refill my water bottle 10 mins before I went to the shower, and nobody told me of this.

Yes, the stay is cheap, we paid around 2,000 pesos for 3 nights. Last night, we even extended our stay for another night. We didn't complain about the internet being too slow, we didn't complain about the water pressure and a whole lot of things because we understand, we get what we paid. However, not telling your guests about a planned water tank maintenance, at 9 am, is too much. Water is a basic need, and telling your guests about a scheduled water interruption is fair exchange.

My wife even called to inform them that I'm in the shower, with shampoo on my head, and that I need water. They told my wife they will deliver water. And 40 mins later, I'm still sitting in my towel with shampoo on my head because the water...
