Food was horrible. My partner ordered butter aged steak for 780 and it was disappointing. The portion was small, didn't have a crust, it was gray all throughout even though she ordered medium, looks like it was boiled. Flavor wise, it was okay, but for 780? We felt scammed.
I, on the other hand, ordered pancit and lechon kawali. The lechon kawali was good but the pancit they served was bland and I had to return it because may plastic sa pancit. Idk if the woman on the other table was the owner but if yes, she seemed like she didn't care about what goes around the restaurant. She didn't even bother to ask what was wrong or if there was something they needed to do. Horrible customer service.
Iced tea was disappointing, they charged us 220 pesos for a pitcher and it wasn't even house blend. Literally tastes like Nestea packet iced tea.
I find it weird that they used folding chairs inside because it was super uncomfortable same goes with the table. Also noticed that the color of the utensils were fading and I'm concern with the high possibility of food contamination. The pancit I returned seems like they just removed the plastic and just heat them up again lol. They charged us 10% for service charge and they didn't even do their job right. Couldn't even upload our receipt because they let us leave the place without issuing our receipt, annoying.
I think it'll be better if it's just a cafe instead of a restaurant, they shouldn't offer something they couldn't execute properly.
We live close by and now we are going to be pissed off everytime we'll drive by. Stay away if you care about the quality of your food and money :)
UPDATE: I knew it, they didn't cook new pancit. They just re-heat and transferred it in a different container. I was eating the pancit that we took home from last night and saw this piece of plastic AGAIN. idk what's up with this restaurant but I guess they are trying to kill people with how they cook their food.
From the moment we left the place, I told my partner that I felt like the restaurant was used to food going back to the kitchen and I...

My personal favorite is kare-kare... I am not a rice person or I must say I try to stay away from rice... But their kare-kare is a rice magnet... Its the sauce! Real peanut, not flour or cornstarch that made it creamy.
My kids love the waffles and their asking me to recreate... But how? I wasn't able to taste even a crumb... so maybe will need to be back here once laziness strikes again...
By the way, they allow dogs... 🥰
Also, it's fancy to have your first date here... A "Bahay na Bato" will empress your date if she is...
Read moreA newly opened, open-air café just a few blocks away from my residence. The interior design is "instagrammable," especially their bar counter table. The staff is very accommodating. We ordered Caramel Macchiato, Matcha Latte, and Turon dessert (as recommended by the owner herself). The coffee is smooth and rich, while the dessert is very delectable. Their Turon dessert reminded us of our similar delectable experience with Manam's Turon with Mango & Kesong Puti with Ice Cream, which is a comfort dessert of ours. We will definitely...
