This restaurant is a hidden gem! We were on our way home to Metro Manila when we passed by this restaurant, and because we were so hungry, we decided to have late lunch here, and oh boy, we’re so glad we did.

Their Pad Thai was so good — one of the best we’ve had so far — I dare say it’s better than Mango Tree’s. We loved it so much that we ordered the platter version for takeout.

Their Lechon Sisig was also good, although I think it could use just a little bit more salt. (We forgot to take a photo/video of this dish.)

Their Beef Rendang was also quite good, and really went well with plain rice. The sauce was rich, but not overpoweringly so.

Please note that both their Beef Rendang and Lechon Sisig are mildly spicy. So if you like them NOT spicy, or you want them spicier, you can probably ask the chef/cook to adjust the spiciness level.

As for their Pad Thai, it’s not spicy at all (which is how we like it) so if you want some kick to it, you can ask the chef/cook to put some chilies in it.

As for desserts, they only have one in the menu: Mango Sticky Rice. But oh boy they damn nailed it. This was the best sticky rice I’ve ever had so far!

Finally, their Thai Milk Tea was also really good and refreshing, with just the right level of sweetness.

As for parking, it has 5 slots, but shared with a barber shop. There’s probably no other nearby parking lots, and this restaurant is on a narrow, 2-lane street which can get busy. Good thing, it was already way past lunch time when we visited, so there were four available parking slots.

Their serving time was not terribly long, but not that quick either. I’d say, it’s in the 15-20 minute range. But the wait was well worth it, as it’s obvious that the food was prepared with care.

The staff and owners were very friendly, warm and polite. It was very pleasant interacting with them. We could sense the genuineness in their service.

The interiors were very homely but quite elegant at the same time. The choice of furnitures and artwork were done with great taste. Even their toilet was very clean, and didn’t have any odor.

My only complaint about this restaurant is that it’s about 30 kilometers away from Metro Manila, so it’s going to be quite difficult for us to go back for more of their food, which is unfortunate, as I’d love to...

Was craving for Asian food, but there seems to be limited options here in Cavite. When I stumbled upon Wansuy on Google maps, I thought of giving it a try without any expectation. (Got disappointed many times in various local restaurants, I learned my lesson to not expect too much)

I went with my dad on a Wednesday afternoon. We were welcomed and served with a smile. We ordered Cha Yen, Beef Rendang, and Laksa. Everything was gewd!

Cha Yen Tastes good. Reminded me of the Cha Yen I had in a Khao Soi restaurant and in a Crab Curry eatery in Bangkok. It doesn’t taste like the one you get in Chatramue’s Manila branches.

Laksa Really flavorful soup. You can tell that they know what they’re doing. If you’re craving for a good Laksa, this is a good place to go to. Its taste reminded me of very flavorful Hawker food in Singapore. As for local comparison, this is far, far better than the Laksa in Nanyang.

Beef Rendang I haven’t been to Indonesia, but I’ve tried Beef Rendang in a few Asian restaurants in Manila. Aside from Banana Leaf’s version, Wansuy’s is now in my top list. This rich beef dish tasted really good with hot rice. I’m picky when it comes to rice. Coz it makes or breaks the meal. Their rice is well-cooked too, a-must in every wonderful Asian meal.

Will come back ✅ I’m eager to try their Pad Thai, Pad Kra Pao, and Mango...

We were craving Asian dishes and decided to check out restaurants in the neighborhood.

We had Tom Yum Goong, Pad Thai, Beef Rendang, Chicken Green Curry, Vietnamese Spring Rolls, Nem Ran and Mango Sticky Rice for dessert.

Yes we almost ordered everything on their menu. The Tom Yum Goong and Beef Rendang were good. My son loved the Garlic Rice with Beef Rendang. The sauce was good and tasty.

The restaurant is small, and has that cozy feel. There were many Thai related decorations including real indoor plants which I liked.

Service is great. Waiting time is about 30 minutes but worth the wait. They have a tiny garden with nice domestic plants.

We will...
