I recently visited the Mang Inasal branch along Nueno Avenue in Imus, Cavite. While the food still delivers the usual Mang Inasal flavors that many people enjoy, the overall dine-in experience at this location could use improvement.
First, the ergonomics of the dining space are poor. The arrangement of tables and chairs is too tight, clearly aiming to maximize capacity—but unfortunately, it sacrifices customer comfort. It feels cramped, and moving around (especially during busy hours) can be quite inconvenient.
Another noticeable issue is with the layout and service flow. The spoons and forks are placed in a corner that’s too far from the food dispatching area. It would make much more sense and improve convenience if they were positioned closer to where meals are handed out.
Speaking of the dispatching area, the staff there didn’t seem very customer service oriented. They appeared more focused on routine and speed than on being approachable or helpful. A little more attentiveness could really improve the overall atmosphere.
Lastly, I noticed a decline in food quality—specifically the lumpiang togue. It used to be one of my go-to side dishes, but now it feels almost hollow, with very little filling inside. The generous togue veggie content that it once had seems to be missing.
Overall, this branch still delivers the core Mang Inasal offerings, but the combination of tight space, less thoughtful layout, and declining food quality makes it feel a bit underwhelming. With a few adjustments in service and setup, the dining experience could be...
Read moreSome of the employees are somewhat lazy. They do not have the initiative to do things like provide new condiments to tables. Some also pass off some requests like water and condiments as "self-service" when the only thing in the self-service station are utensils. The soups should be given immediately as soon as a customer gets their table. They usually give these in the MIDDLE of meal time, which is very wrong because things like soups are supposed to be given Before eating heavy meals... Too bad, this place has a lot of potential. Salute to one employee that takes the initiative to serve...
Read moreWorst Manginasal Ever! Not recommendable. I went there after work to have dinner with my wife. We ordered 2 orders of PM2, they let us wait for more than 45mins. Our dessert was served first and before our meal arrived, our halohalo is already melted. Also we waited 45mins then upon giving us the food they told us they don’t have calamansi, when they can just buy sacks of calamansi across the restaurant (considering it’s accross Imus Market) They don’t even have vinegar to substitute, just Soy Sauce. Worst Manginasal Ever. There is also a PWD beside us who waited for his food...
