Dropped by the One Great Massitda restaurant for some korean food.
The ambience is great, waiters are friendly but the place is just hot. We had to open 2 electric fans while having dinner.
We tried their army soup/budae jiggae. Taste is okay. I was expecting more meat like hotdog, fish cake, spam, etc, especially for the expensive price. For p1,200 pesos, probably this is good for 3people.
Tried also their kkanpunggi or the spicy garlic boneless chicken. It was okay. I was expecting that the chicken will be crispy, coated with some sauce, similar to tangsuyuk but it was soggy already. Taste is great though. For p1200, the serving size is good for 3people as well.
Definitely, this place is expensive and is really targetted to korean tourists. They have some sort of an exclusive duty free also towards the end of the place.
Overall, it was okay. Quite hard to find a very good korean...
Read moreHad a wonderful dinner earlier today. It was my first time going here and the experience felt authentic. Though the place is at the airport which is quite far from the town center, it does not stop local patrons, Filipino or Korean from coming to Massitda.
Their side dishes are currently limited as according to one of the staff members, they are already closing down the place and moving to Palawan. Quite a bit sad actually since I wanted to come back here...
