Luk Foo Cantonese Kitchen — Restaurant in Kawit

I had a really bad experience at this branch, especially with Mela, the cashier. She gave me the wrong items, yet she was the one who got annoyed, saying that she repeated the orders. The truth is, she only mentioned the names of the food, which confused me since I’m not familiar with all the names. That’s why I relied on the codes like B1, etc. But when I reported it, she insisted that she repeated both the names and the codes — which is not true. She never mentioned any code, only the food names. Since I don’t know all the names, I used the codes. In the end, it was clearly their mistake, but she still wouldn’t admit it, and the whole staff didn’t take any action regarding the wrong items. It’s really disappointing because the restaurant is well-known, but the service from the staff...

Lukfoo has always been our favorite Chinese restaurant here in Cavite. Their food is always of good quality and worth the price. From soups, dimsums, rice, main dishes to their desserts, always the best! Can’t say anything more but the experience is really satisfying with friendly staff and good service. Didn’t had much time to take photos of the food we ordered, just got too excited to take a bite of each. To mention a few of what we had, salt and pepper spare ribs, salted egg prawns, orange sauce prawns, shrimps and Chinese pechay, salt and pepper squid, birthday pancit, garlic rice, Shanghai, chicken feet, hakao, broccoli and scallops…...

The restaurant is beside Puregold Kawit so it's easy to spot.

The interior has a modern design and it was clean.

We had ordered the braised and cold cuts. Unfortunately, I didn't like any of them. The meat were a bit hard and had a really "gamey/fishy" taste. If there was anything positive, I liked the century egg. But that was it.

It could just be me because my companion enjoyed both dishes.

So, try and see for yourself and don't rely on my taste buds...
