Hummingbird Restaurant is a delightful spot that immediately captures your attention with its charming ambiance and vibrant atmosphere. From the moment you step inside, youâre greeted by a warm and inviting vibe that sets the tone for a memorable experience. The design of the place is truly remarkableâan aesthetic masterpiece that feels both cozy and Instagram-worthy. Whether itâs the soft lighting, tasteful dĂ©cor, or the lush greenery, Hummingbird Restaurant undeniably excels in creating a photogenic and visually pleasing environment.
While the food itself is decent, it doesnât quite reach the heights set by the ambiance. The dishes are satisfying but not particularly exceptional, and the portions tend to be on the smaller side. Combined with a slightly higher price point, the overall value of the dining experience may leave some patrons wishing for a bit more generosity in terms of servings and flavor. That said, the menu does offer a variety of options, which might appeal to different tastes.
The service, however, is a definite highlight. The staff are incredibly accommodating, respectful, and attentive, making diners feel well taken care of throughout their visit. Their professionalism and friendly demeanor add to the overall positive experience at Hummingbird Restaurant.
Ultimately, what truly sets this restaurant apart is its atmosphere and design. Itâs a perfect spot for special occasions, casual dining, or simply enjoying a serene moment in a beautiful setting. While the food may not be the standout feature, the excellent service and breathtaking ambiance make it a highly recommended destination, especially for those who appreciate a photogenic and inviting space.    Read moreI guess this one takes the cake for the most stylish restaurant in Koronadal City. As an admirer of interior design, I could just gaze and take photos of the ceiling and artworks that abound. The interior design is tasteful, the ambience is great, and the best part is - it overlooks the city. Every angle is so instagrammable. The pizza and pastries are fine. I havenât had a full meal here, but so far, they also have the best coffee Iâve ever tasted in the area, and mind you, I only drink americano sans other flavors and sugar. The price is a little steeper than average for Koronadal City, for which reason I canât understand why it has a self-service model. So, to eat, you have to get your food at the counter, and scramble to get plates and utensils from the dish cabinet. When you need to drink water, you get glasses from the same cabinet and fill it up with water at the dispenser. All these hullabaloo make it a tad cumbersome for groups like me who usually have 4 kids in tow. đ Imagine yourself - all made-up in dress and heels, you go to a supposed classy place, but youâre expected to put plates, utensils & glasses on the table and serve your group. Imagine if my kids would pick to eat at the second floor. My golly! đ”âđ« My mind canât comprehend what the branding & development team had in mind. I guess they have to restrategize this one. The little service they provide upon ordering is one of worst Iâve ever encountered. No welcome greetings upon entering. No smiles. Nada for a business in the hospitality industry. Despite these, Iâm coming back for the coffee and the view, and nothing else. My kids wonât be definitely tagging along because I dont want to be...
Read moreNice aesthetic place sitting atop a hill overlooking the plains of Koronadal City and the majestic Mt. Matutum. Soft opening last month and as expected, many guests came over but, as expected, it was a mess. System was pay as you order and self service. Once your orders are ready and your buzzer sounded off, you have to take the food trays from the counter, get your own utensils (spoon, fork, knife, glasses) from the cabinet by the stairs. Had we dined in some fast-food restaurants, this setup would be fine. But this can be considered a proper restaurant with the ambiance that they are trying to project and the corresponding menu prices, which is above average. "Ay self service gali?" is most often you can hear from adjacent tables. Food was delicious though judgment is reserved for later if they can maintain the quality.
A month later and we are in the same mess. Disorganized. Understaffed. And the food takes forever to prepare. We requested to separate the sauce of the hummingbird chicken but upon serving, was not. Good thing there were available similar orders and was replaced. Thankfully food is delicious. Hummingbird pasta is creamy with generous amount of mushrooms. Drinks are pretty and tastes just as well. Sans Rival is perfectly paired with hot caramel machiatto.
Staff said this is a coffee bar, hence self serve.
Apparently, patrons expected wrong.
Nevertheless, we are rooting for this establishment to succeed. Hoping they will be able to iron out some kinks.
Add some staff please.
Guests are not used to climbing up the stairs carrying heavy trays of food. This is an accident waiting to happen with your plates and glasses...
