Lantaw-Marbel Resort Hotel — Restaurant in Koronadal

In everything that i've experienced, only the view was nice. When it comes to their service and amenities, it's very disappointing. Starting with the online booking, we really had a stressful time because they always replied so late. They will only leave your message on "seen" and don't even bother replying. We let it slide because we thought they were just busy. But when we arrived, we had to wait outside the heat even though it was past our check-in time because they said we had to wait for the "assistance" of their staff. But since we have already booked ahead of time and they were aware of our arrival, they should've been on standby to make sure that we made it to our room upon the check-in time. But guess what? They made us wait outside and even made us WAIT FOR THE ARRIVAL OF THEIR STAFF FOR "ASSISTANCE" when they should be the one waiting for us to accommodate us nicely. For the record, the water of their faucets was not clear, and the amenities were not functioning properly— even not functioning at all (toilet flush, shower). And since those were not functioning, there should be a dipper and pail (bucket and mug) as an alternative but there was none. Also in one of the rooms that we occupied, the shower drainage cover was loose causing my sister to slip inside the bathroom. And please, since it is a "Resort Hotel", let your staff have some seminars. Maybe hospitality, manners, and etiquette will do. Unlike the other resorts that we have visited, the staff here were not hospitable and approachable enough. They give you the "Customer ka lang, we work here" type of treatment. They don't even greet any common greetings like how a common hospitality worker does. They also just pop out out of nowhere on your doorstep without saying "Ma'am/Sir, ilalagay lang po namin extra bed nyo". Like how can a resort hotel operate like this? God...

Bad experience. I paid my order around 6:05 pm and no one from the staff informed me that my order will be served late. When I went back to the Cashier it was already around 7:08 pm only then they serve my order around 7:20 pm. The place was nice and good no doubt, but they only gave me a paper plate and a disposable spoon. Take note I ordered beef. How would that cut through a beef? But of course I understand that maybe that night there were a lot of people in the VIP area and so all the spoons and plates were there. And before I forget, the Mixed Sea Food that I ordered is not real seafoods but only an artificial flavored like fish ball and crab sticks. But the ambiance of the place is absolutely good. Sa view pa lang enjoy kana. But I hope they can do better next time na kakain ulit ako dun....

It was nice. The view was really beautiful. It would be best not to visit during very hot days. We stayed for one night, and there were lots of ants and few of the flying insects. Although the ants were just outside the room, you would still feel cautious about it since they are red ants. They bite. The bathroom door doesn't have a lock and it was difficult to open and shut the sliding door connecting to the balcony. It was nice that the room was just near the front desk and the pool. However, if you are going to stay in the glamping room it would be a struggle for the elderly and those who have arthritis. It was far from the pool but near the restaurant. Hmm. What else.. the staff were very friendly, and attentive. I liked it. I would love to visit this place again. 😄 I like the view...
