Not totally impressed. First, the server did not smile at all. And I was with my daughter who is a 4 y.o and she saw the bell and tried to ring it, the server reacted in such a disappointing way, as if my daughter made a terrible mistake. The server got the bell and when we needed their service, my aunt would go down and look for a server just because the lady got the bell. While the other table without a kid, had their bell until the end of their meal. Not a kid friendly restaurant - at all. Soooooooooo disappointed. I expected quite a lot because of the reviews but it disappointed me - BIG TIME. I was also expecting of a yard, a garden. Or some beautiful flowers at least. Again, disappointed. The food is okay. We had some coffee, tea, pasta and a cake. BTW, they don't have a wide selection of appetizers, desserts, pasta and all. Their menu is somewhat all over the place. Coffee is good for the price. But honestly, if you're going to drive a good 30-40 minutes, at least from our place, I think you should be at least impressed. I was not impressed at all. Will I go back to this place? No. Not worth my time and money. I'll just go to somewhere near, with great Service, a wide selection of food and value for money. Their food is not terrible. It was...

Arca’s Yard Cafe in Baguio holds a special place in my heart. Tucked away in the mountains, this hidden gem offers not only delightful cuisine but an unforgettable experience.

Stepping into Arca’s Yard felt like entering a haven of art and nature. The ambiance, adorned with paintings, sculptures, and live greenery, creates a unique and inviting atmosphere. It’s a place where you can truly unwind and embrace Baguio’s artistic charm.

The menu at Arca’s Yard is a culinary journey of local and international flavors. Every dish is a celebration of fresh, locally sourced ingredients. One can’t leave without trying their “Pinikpikan,” a traditional Cordilleran chicken soup that’s nothing short of heartwarming.

But what sets Arca’s Yard apart is its commitment to art and culture. Regular events featuring local artists, musicians, and poets infuse life into the place, making it a hub for the creative community.

Arca’s Yard Cafe isn’t just a restaurant; it’s a destination where nature and culture intertwine. The warm hospitality of the staff, the exquisite cuisine, and the artistic ambiance make it a must-visit. Whether you’re a local or a traveler, Arca’s Yard Cafe is a treasure in Baguio, a place that captures the spirit and flavors of this...

I have been to many restaurants in Baguio but Arca’s Yard Cafe is the gem! The ride from Session road going to Arcas took about 10min-15min. It is far from the city center and the road going to the resto is uphill.

Ambience was superb! I can literally stay there from morning to evening. They have plenty of tables and nook depends where you want to seat. We opted to seat in the veranda to be closer with the nature and to savor the good view. If you wanted to have some time alone and be away from the crowd, this is the place to be!

The staff are attentive and courteous. It gets busy during lunch so to get a hold of the crews attention becomes a lil difficult - which is pretty normal for a popular resto.

The serving time is normal like 20mins or so.

The food was great! Too heavy for me to be honest. I ordered pesto carbonara and the cream of mushroom soup. My friend got the pesto pasta with tuna flakes which I like better. 😅 We both agreed that the carrot cake is the WINNER! not to sweet!

The star of the whole experience is when we get the chance to roam around and had photo taken with their nooks. I think this place is being advertised as cafe/resto, library, and museum.

Will definitely come back to eat, pray,...

What a great way to welcome the year! Let's start off with a hearty breakfast from Arca's Yard! 1. The Place: Arca's Yard is a very peaceful place where you can have a meal (preferably breakfast) and enjoy the tranquil environment. It makes you feel you're at home when you step right in. Score: 5 2. The Food: Food here is really delicious! The pasta is firm and tasty, the hot chocolate is heavenly! So why a mediocre rating? There was wait time (which isn't the reason) and with that kind of wait time, one would expect that the food would be hot & fresh. But, no it wasn't. Food was served cold. Yeah sure it's Baguio, but come on, should the food get cold that quick on it's way from the kitchen going to our table? Nope, don't think so. Score: 3 3. The Service: So this is kind of related to item 2. The staff here were okay, not a "wow" kind of service. It didn't bother me though as long as I get my food. What cost them a star is the long wait time. Sure they have to prepare the food and all the good stuff, but when your customers are hungry, you don't want them waiting for half an hour. Score: 3 4: The Verdict: The place is perfect, great food and not-so-good wait time.
