Reposted from my IG: Wow. Every single one of (the dishes we ordered) exceeded our expectations. Not just because of serving size to price point ratio, but also because of taste. We didn't know what to expect when we made reservations, just, "Oh it's expensive, I hope it's good." Upon first bite, whichever persona it was in our subconscious that said this immediately shut up. ๐Ÿ˜… Gonna use English names here to conserve description characters (IG limit).

Mains: Arugula with blue cheese and walnuts salad was a wonderful dance of complimentary flavors, coupled with such lovely crunch. Seafood risotto was peppery, and they did not scrimp on the ingredients: prawn, mussels, squid. In fact, I was full for 5 hours after that. Husband's salmon and caviar pizza did not look like much, but oho that savory bite! ๐Ÿ’ฏ Penne arrabbiata is spicy, which I suspect is how it should be, considering the word "arrabbiata" means "angry" (the ones you eat in local restaurants here taste solely like tomato sauce without the chili). Despite my aversion to spice, I did enjoy that one piece I sampled from Hazel's plate. ๐Ÿ˜‚ And Felix's calzone. OK, this was the biggest surprise. I normally don't like calzone, especially when I see the word "sausage" among the ingredients, because my taste buds always feel overwhelmed by them. But this wasn't like that at all. It tasted like mushrooms, olives, cheese, and herbs. Its crust had a pillow soft texture. AND IT'S HUGE.

Dessert: Husband and I had gelato, vanilla for me and coffee for him. Effective palate cleansers, especially the coffee variant, which had a bitter aftertaste. Felix and Hazel shared a fried gelato. This was another pleasant surprise. The thin dough was one of the best things to ever sit in my mouth, as it had a mildly chewy texture that goes well with the ice cream as it melts.

Overall: One of the best restaurants we've ever come across. Beautiful ambience. Everything was worth...

Place was fine and no issues when we got there. We didn't made a booking but the manager was glad to accept us in the in condition that will only be until 12nn. No issues with this since there might be othet guest that will arrive since it was Father's Day. i really recommend that if you plan to dine here make sure you have a booking or else you might not be able to dine here.

Food: I'm a fan of Italian food and I would say the food they serve didn't dissapoint us. To those not use to Arugula(it was our first time to get one), I suggest you may ask the staff for other options. Staff will even recommend other options. Unfortunately due to limited time to dine we didn't got to try their wines.

Distance: Yes this worth trying, it's not far from the nearest exit of STAR toll(Tambo Exit). But if you're form Rosario or Padre Garcia you better use the Ibaan Exit since traffic in Lipa downtown is chaotic.

Recommend to friends and family: Definitely a yes. But parking for a large number might take some consideration. Casa Marikit relies on parking along the main road of Mataas Na Kahoy and might be not comfortable for others. There is a parking inside but can only fit...

Very shocked that arriving at 1:00 pm on a Monday that a signature dessert is unavailable ( Tiramisu was unavailable ) That already set the tone. #1) The Salads " Ensalata De Mare" consisted of 2 medium size shrimp and 3 wedges of albino tomato that were hard sans flavor. #2) The Calamari Fritte came with 2 of the Largest fried shrimp I have seen. Lightly breaded shrimp & Calamari were absolutely and fresh the taste was fantastic. The Marinara sauce was lackluster at best. #3) the Risotto was embarrassing Lacking texture creaminess & flavor #4) Spaghetti de Pescatore - alienate with bland sauce #5) Fettuccine de Mare y Monte Good flavor, very cheesy & creamy but 3 unopened classic in a seafood dish was a first for me. Have always been warned about unopened clams in my pasta dishes. My impression was a 2.5 on a scale of 1 to 5. Let's call it the Olive Garden scale. If using the Maggiano's Little Italy scale this dining experience was a 0.5 out of 5.0 Very over priced for the food quality about on par with Pizza Hut. I will warn everyone I know to...
