Updated as I'm now a Senior citizen: My spouse and I have been regulars at Max’s Restaurant in Olivarez, Los Baños, Laguna, for a while now. It’s our usual lunch spot after picking up our grandson from school, and honestly, it’s become a bit of a tradition for us. The crew there knows us by now—they’ve got our orders down pat and always remember what our grandson loves to eat, which just makes his day. It’s nice to feel so welcomed every time we walk in.
The folks working there are super polite and quick to help out, which we really appreciate. They’re always smiling, and nothing feels like too much trouble for them. Plus, the food comes out hot and fast—usually in about 15 minutes—so we’re not sitting around waiting forever, and our grandson doesn’t get antsy. Paying’s a cinch, too. We love that we can go cashless—it’s so easy, and they handle our senior discounts without any fuss. Takes the hassle right out of settling the bill.
The restrooms are always clean, which is a big deal for us. Only thing I’d say is they could maybe add bidets—us old-timers would sure find that handy.
All in all, Max’s at Olivarez is our kind of place. Good food, great people, and a cozy spot to hang out with our grandson. We’ll keep coming back, no...
