The wait staff welcomed us but he thought we were regular patrons -- probably because we were dressed in pambahay clothes and carrying a walis tambo, a tornado mop and laundry hampers. We've just relocated and trying to get errands done on a weekday.
Taking too long to review their menu, he realized we're new to Elbi so he apologized saying he wasn't able to elaborate on their best sellers. We don't blame him though! We didn't really plan our visit; we were just walking from Robinsons mall, desperately looking for a place to have dinner at until we stumbled upon their place: airconditioned, woohoo ooh, breads on the wall and lots of cakes!
Read moreI went to eat breakfast this morning in Dalcielo Restaurant and I had a good experience. 2 things that make me do that I never did… I don’t drink brewed coffee but when I smelled the aroma of the coffee that my wife ordered (Dalcielo coffee) it make me want to drink that coffee and I did. (It was great), then I never eat bitter gourd, when my wife recommended me that it’s good when I tried it .. it didn’t disappoint. I drank brewed coffee and ate pickled bitter gourd a new milestone for me. The fried rice was good because it doesn’t have the overwhelming garlic taste , beef tapa was amazing as it’s soft and tastes amazing without being too oily. Read moreI was really disappointed when my friend and I ate at Dalcielo, in retrospect I should have taken a picture but forgot. We only ordered 2 clam chowder served in a bowl and they brought us one basket of 3 small pieces of bread to share. I thought it was very stingy because the soup was suppose to be serve in a bread bowl. I built up Dalcielo to her and told her to go to their branch in Bagong Kalsada, her house is near that branch, but I don't think she will.
