Luisa and Daughter is a 30-year old resto serving Filipino food plus internation dishes like Thai pancit, Korean Barbecue (bulgogi), tacos and sukiyaki on their menu. However, if there’s one local dish LUISA and Daughter has made a name of is Chami - flat Miki Noodles or Shanghai-style noodles stir-fried or sautéed with meat and vegetables. We were invited to the kitchen where they do all the cooking and demonstrated to us how to cook chami.

The “Chami” that they serve warm to their customers do not contain artificial seasoning. It is purely made of “kaldo” or chicken stock. That’s the reason why the taste is authentic and a healthy version. They serve two variations: Chami regular (sweet) and Binalibag sa toyo (spicy).

The foods here are really delicious! They offer a wide variety of foods. Our personal favorites are the Chami, Fried RIce, and Fried Chicken. It's ideal for both the kids and the older customers. The ambiance is really casual and relaxed; ideal for family bonding. The staffs are really accommodating, polite and friendly which invites an even more positive mood. They also have pretty cool art works inside. The prices, however, may be quite costly and the wait time may take a while. It's worthy of that though. To start it off, when we arrived there my little sister said that the staff were so enthusiastic, and I agree with her. They were so kind and attentive to customers. The food was also great, we ordered tons of dishes from the menu and it was delicious alright. While I was observing the restaurant, my eyes came across at the guard who was helping the staff to clean up the table. I find it sweet and made me feel comfortable with their kind acts.
