Mang Inasal — Restaurant in Luzon

I had to spend time here with my mom's friend to celebrate my mom's friend's birthday here in Cogeo. We meet up and ordered here to have dinner so everything is fine. We waited for like 15-20 minutes to have the food on our table which is so long to me since I'm actually hungry. The food is not that good compared to some different Mang inasal stores that I tried before pandemic. I don't know about COVID health restrictions but there's no such thing about the food needs to be less delicious than before pandemic. Or it's just the cook not cooking it any special. But still, I ate it bcoz I'm hungry and who wants to say no to a free food here, and besides it's my mom's bestie's bday. They also serve very little amount of soy sauce and other sauces. The staff service is just okay for me, not good not bad. Before pandemic, the staff assist us by packing the stuff that we can't finish like food or chicken. Now, we're now the ones who's packing the leftover food, not them. I'm not trying to be a Karen here but things really change but not for a good reason, maybe it's just the pandemic that change the way the staff do their work, but I understand that they need money and are tired to do that. Hello, this is a genuine review. I'm very aware of every staff's exhaustion throughout the day serving different people. I'm just really sad and disappointed about the service we have experienced from the staff the night we arrived to eat. After we had ordered we waited almost 40 min for our food to be served ( we even needed to follow up for our order for it to be served ).While eating, it's like we're guilty of something just for asking for extra rice since we ordered unlimited (rice). I'm a teenager (idk if this is because I'm just a young customer), but I'm very aware of my right to be served as i know what i have paid for. :) I'm not entitled, I'm on the ground; as humble and respectful as i can be but i think my opinion matters. I'm thankful for the other staff who served us, as attentive...

If only negative star is available. So apparently, they'd closed their previous branch and transferred a few blocks away to the newly constructed building near it's old location. If you go visit a new restaurant, you are excited to see the place and try out the service. But on my dismay, it wasn't what I expected. The place was so dirty and the crew were horsing around. The spoon and fork dispenser was not even hot. Our food were sitting cold at the dispatch area for so long because the crew were not paying attention and just chit chatting to each other. It was really disappointing experience and we'll never go back to that...
