This review is more about the food quality. It was supposed to be a treat for my family in the Philippines to conclude my and my daughterâs familyâs one month Christmas vacation. We ordered bulalo, chicken BBQ, chicken pastel, chop suey, buko juice, mango shake, iced lemon tea, rice, garlic fried rice, and a couple of dishes. The Bulalo is not new, the taste is like one day old and must be just reheated, just salty soup and not beefy flavor; Chicken BBQ was very sweet and did not taste freshly cooked for the day. The chicken pastel is loaded with too much mayonnaise that overwhelmed the chicken flavor; Chop suey was okay, nothing special and mostly cabbage with a few pcs. of carrots and green beans; The biggest disappointment for me was the supposedly buko juice- itâs got zero coconut flavor, very white water that tasted like condensed milk diluted in iced water. I told the waiter about how it tastes and he literally said, âfresh buko po yan ba ini squeezed namin at binlenderâ Hello!!! Iâm a buko juice drinker and I know the real buko flavor. Wrapping up, I was amazed there was a long line of people when we arrived and got the impression that their food must be really really good. Wrong, wrong, wrong! It was merely a hype! Wonât be coming back ever when I visit the Philippines. One star is the lowest I can give for the food and 2 stars for the rest. By the way, they did not mess up the white plain rice and the garlic rice had...
Read moreI believe that there's always a room for improvement but this will be our first and last time to eat here. What we had experience was unforgettable and horrible. We dined here few hours ago (we got the table past 4pm and places our order around quarter to 5). The orders TAKES HOUR or more before they were served (and we're famished at this point). Their so called "bestsellers" were not satisfying at all. Their bulalo was too salty and they served the broth cold (I was expecting warm because hello, this is soup right?). One of the 3 grilled tuna we ordered was spoiled and smell bad. Their sizzling tofu was bland for our taste. Their garlic fried rice was so-so. If you're that person who wants to savor their drinks and consume it slowly, DON'T ORDER their shake. It became too watery as the minute goes by). Their shrimp alegue has more alegue than shrimp on it (like 80% alegue & 20% shrimp fr). And last but not the least, they have horrible service. Their staff were not accomodating and the moment we told them our complaints and our experience, the person we talk to gave us bad attitude and non-chalant about it. FYI, there's not a lot of customers at this time (so they can't reason that they're accomodating a lot of people that's why. We will never eat here ever again. Their foods are pricey that's why we expect that we will have a good and...
