My Tablea Cafe — Restaurant in Malapascua

Visited on 27th Mar 2023 My buddy and me stayed at the Southern part of Malapascua but was highly recommended by a fellow diver to make a trip up Northshore Beach to My Tablea Café for the delish Coffee and drinks.

Awesome Black ink Squid, Springrolls and solid cuppa hot Tablea drink - perfect for dark chocolate lovers!

Best decision ever! Totally worth the est. 20min motorbike ride (100php/ person/ to and fro) Wished we had planned for more time to explore the Northern side though... First time learning about and tasting Filipino Tablea from the awesome owner Jenny. Jenny warmly welcomed and patiently answered our enquiries, despite us waltzing in without knowing that it was close to closing time. 😅 Such a beautiful, quaint and rustic place to chill~ Can tell her passion and joy to provide the freshest quality food.

Ended our dinner with both of us happily bringing home their very own Tablea De Lucrecia product from her brother's cacao plantation. Amongst the best souvenirs/ purchases from Malapascua.

Would definitely return to My Tablea Café if we ever visit...

My first ever delicious, classic and authentic chocolate (tablea) frapuccino. The chocolate ingredient is freshly made from its raw product called cacao. Very authentic. Way much better than starbucks' choco smoothies. They also blend the chocolate smoothies with mango..a perfect match yummm They also have few dishes for lunch and dinner and these seem prepared with attitude and the serving is classic (no way ordinary) the small area is cozy, quiet and u can stay reading books which are available at the counter. I had a wonderful experience at My Tablea Café. The service was excellent and the staff was friendly, making my dining experience very pleasant. The ambiance was great and the owner herself cooked the food, which was delicious. She was very hospitable and accommodating, which made the experience even better.
