Update: After multiple visits to this restaurant during my recent trip to the Philippines, I felt it was only right to update my review with more details—because this place truly deserves it.

Each time I visited, I received consistently amazing service. The wait time was reasonable, and every dish I tried was delicious. From appetizers to entrees, everything was packed with flavor and beautifully presented. Even the drinks stood out— especially the mango shake. It was sweet, fresh, and perfectly blended. The attention to detail was top tier.

Another big plus: the bathroom was clean and well-maintained, which is something I really appreciate.

As someone with years of experience in customer service, it’s something I pay close attention to— and I can honestly say the service here made each visit even better. Richard, our server, was consistently attentive, patient, and genuinely welcoming. By our last visit, my dad and his cousins had enjoyed themselves so much that we ended up staying there for hours. I eventually suggested we step outside since the restaurant was starting to get really crowded. (I’m genuinely grateful they didn’t ask us to leave or even hint at it.) We actually came back later for more soup and coffee, and my dad specifically asked if Richard could serve us again—which really speaks to the lasting impression he made.

The food at Gerry’s Grill was great, and Mr. Paco was friendly and accommodating. He asked us if everything was good, although we had just started eating which we found a bit early but still appreciated the gesture.

One of the female staff fair skinned and slim, though I didn’t catch her name was also very kind. She picked up my child’s toy without us asking, which was thoughtful and unexpected.

However, one concern we had was that the staff were not attentive to items left behind. We accidentally left something at the restaurant, and no one informed or followed us, even though we stayed for quite a while at the ground floor near the restaurant.

Sadly, we’re only here on vacation and are now too far to come back for it.
