Chowking Naic Drive-Thru — Restaurant in Naic

I would like to share my recent experience at the Chowking Naic branch, which was unfortunately very disappointing. I visited the restaurant around 3:30 PM, as I was craving halo-halo. While I was in line at the counter, I observed some concerning hygiene practices: one cashier was touching her lips and another was touching her ear. Additionally, the staff did not appear welcoming, as they were not smiling.

When it was my turn, I ordered a 1-piece chicken meal upgraded with Chowfan rice, along with halo-halo. The cashier informed me that the halo-halo was not available yet, but I requested if it could be served after 15 minutes as dessert, and she agreed. However, after just seven minutes, the same cashier brought the drinks and the halo-halo to our table, which surprised me, but I chose not to react.

While waiting, I noticed that one of the staff members was mopping the floor, and the smell from the cleaning solution was very unpleasant. Shortly after, the buzzer rang, indicating that my order was ready. When I went to the counter to collect it, I found that the order was incorrect — the rice had not been upgraded to Chowfan as requested, so I had to wait again for the correction.

Once the food was ready, I noticed that the tray given to me was dirty. There was gravy spilled on it, which I accidentally touched — it was extremely unpleasant and unhygienic.

Additionally, several staff members were occupying a nearby table for their own use, making the dining atmosphere feel unprofessional and uncomfortable for customers like me.

Overall, my experience at this branch was very disappointing. From poor hygiene practices to wrong orders and an uncomfortable dining environment, this visit did not meet the standards I expect from Chowking. I hope that necessary improvements will be made to ensure a better experience for...

The food were superb to say the least you can really feel the crunchiness of the chicken and the delecious taste of the food on their menu. However since we arrived at nighttime, the place was jampacked with people, this affevted the service of the food, this however doesn't changed the fact that the service was lackluster, but it should be better when the place is not as busy. The atmosphere however is not immersive, especially when you dine at the fromt part, the establishment itself is in a shape of a reactangle and there were not much privacy between tables. During my most recent visit, I noticed some improvements in service and cleanliness, which I appreciate. It shows that there’s an effort to do better, and I want to recognize that.

However, I’m giving 2 stars because of a previous negative experience that was quite disappointing. That visit left a strong impression, and it will take consistent good service over time to fully change my perception.
