This Gerry's grill branch is close to Manaoag church. Food is exceptional, and the service and atmosphere are kind of problematic.
Food: •Food is good, as expected by gerry's grill. It is on par as if you ate in one of their branches in metro manila.
Service: •When we entered the restaurant, there was only 1 table occupied. The waitress seemed restless and bothered when asked about the items in the menu.
•They once approached us after ordering for PWD/Senior disc. cards, this is before our meal is served. We haven't asked for a bill yet. We were fine providing it, but the moment we asked for our bill, there were no discounts applied. We had to provide the card again. We were wondering why they asked it in advance in the first place.
•We wanted to pay through a credit card. However, we noticed that they took the card and bill inside, but then still ended up bringing the machine to our table. For future visitors planning to pay using a card, ask them to bring the machine to the table for security. They also took their time ringing up the items as you could hear them loudly talking inside.
•We told the waitress to serve the dessert we ordered as soon as possible, we received our main dishes and appetizers, but still no dessert, we followed up. After the meal, there were still no desserts, and we asked to cancel the order. Note that there were 3 total tables/customers at that time the restaurant was not busy.
Atmosphere: • The restaurant has decent parking space infront, the interior is decent. However, there are a lot of flies. What disappointed me is that they have a device to counter against flies, but they only have one, and they dont even light the candles at the table even if it is visible that there are alot of flies on the table. Don't eat here if you are easily irritated by flies on the table and also below. The comfort room is also dirty.

Read moreWe went here for dinner after visiting Manaoag. At that time, we were the only customers. After the waitress took our order, we waited for about 20–30 minutes before another waitress informed us that there was an issue with the gas line and it had to be shut off. She said they couldn’t guarantee that the food would be served within 20 minutes, but assured us that all the food would eventually be served. We overheard that they would serve free chips while we waited, but nothing arrived.
After another 10 minutes, a different waiter told us that they could no longer cook any food because the gas line had been completely shut off. We paid for our drinks and left the restaurant, as it was already late and the kids who were with us...
Read moreThe real star of the dinner was the appetiser "Oriental Tuna Sashimi", which was very similar to authentic Hawaiian poke. However, I was very disappointed that a lot of the menu options were not available. This may just be due to the dining experience being closer to the end of the year.
There were a few hiccups with the service such as failing to give us the menu from the moment we sat, and a few dirt debris found on the plates, which were immediately remedied by their manager.
I assume that most of them were new staff as they did seem quite lost so I do still think it was a pretty good service overall. Pleasantly surprised by it and considering that the food is very...
