My sister has been a patron of this Behrouz branch since its launch in Santana Grove. Last year, she became disabled and was not able to move as much and much so , to eat out like she used to do. Recently, she recovered and able to live and breathe through a rubber tube attached to her heart. She is slowly adjusting to her new lifestyle and limitations, and this afternoon, she happily visited Behrouz Santana Grove. She went home in a very bad shape, palpitating and blood pressure reaching 192/90. We allowed her to rest and she told the story that the Lady owner ( maybe manager) who arrived by 12 Noon, refused to provide her full PWD ( Person with Disability) discount. The lady supervisor instead of explaining to her why, started mouthing her from the counter. My sister was treated like an enemy than a customer. My sister inquired why she cannot get a full discount, but the lady even asked for her personal ID to know who she is and making sarcasms, insults and provoking remarks. Food business is a service oriented business, why should this ever happen? This is unheard of and absurd. It is not the amount of discount but why should PWD need to fight for their rights? They are under privileged in many ways and Behrouz ( especially that lady owner or manager) does not have any idea what PWDs need to suffer each day to integrate to society and what they need to suffer so that they can extend their lives each single day ( in my sister's case, she is having 3 long tubes in her heart protruding through her chest to live). No amount can equal to life...that's why I want to ask, is the insult, sarcasm and fight worth doing just to deny few pesos of benefit, which is anyway due to the person. The lady apparently, never stopped mouthing and shouting until my sister is finally out of the restaurant and proudly saying that --"yes, we have the right to deny a customer!" Where is the integrity, the compassion and the human side of what you do? Good food, maybe----- but customer service and being attest civil and humane?, I am not sure. I am calling all PWD association and organization and those who have relatives and friends who are PWD, let's boycott Behrouz-- Being cruel to PWD, NOT ACCEPTABLE! Be ashamed...
Read moreBerhauz I would say it's nothing special.the price is acceptable for the food. Although I would say there service is not friendly at all. Although it was my mistake for leaving my things in the restaurant. I was shock even if we were the only costumers during that time. My things went missing which where (shampoo, deoderdeod, and peanut butter from human nature) to think the staff showed me a crumpled paper baga and angrily told us the items went missing somewhere else as they aggressively experessed that the items weren't with them instead of assisting us to find the items. The crazy thing is after I had already left and the ordeal had passed my boss helped me by calling again the establishement. It was after my boss called that they called us at the end of day that they found the missing items in the restroom which I clearly checked before I left. Well I won't conclude anything all I have to say is they are not hospitable or friendly at all. If your looking for Persian food go ahead, but be careful...
Read moreBehrouz is my go to place for late night shawarma cravings. The small shawarma is around Php60 but quite tasty.
This branch seems to be going downhill. Although the food is good, the service and place is a bit dismal. There are boxes piled in a corner, the wash area needs fixing up or even repair and the door to the kitchen looks disheveled. The plastic chair looks new cause I guess they ditched the old couches. Compared to the other eating establishments around the area that's been there (Santana Groove) as long as they have, they look the shabbiest of them all.
The service was also bad. There was only one person to take orders for the whole place. And he isn't happy about it. Our table was right beside the counter and the server didn't respond when we called. We asked to have our water changed cause there was a white object floating in it and he just added more water to it. We order 2 glasses of iced tea (worth around 60php each) and it was a tall glass of water with too much...
