Me and my fambam used to get delighted over the yummy dishes served by this decades-old all-time family-favorite Filipino restaurant. Sadly, our visit last evening at Hampton Branch for family dinner out was quite disappointing. Their supposed regular-sized chicken seemed like a size of their spring, a bit dry, unlike many years ago when it was super tasty that one would savor it down to its bones. Their sweet and sour fish fillet is bland, and one serving platter of their pancit canton has became smaller from its usual serving size. The staff, particularly this lady who placed the menu on our table ignored my asking to hand over the menu to me, a cold frowning demeanor she showcased while approaching our table. This wasn’t the resto had instilled in its staff before. They used to be very accommodating and friendly to their customers.
Given that there are more food places we could go to anyway, I don’t think we are going back to this...
Read moreThis place was one of my favourites before, but after my last experience, I started to rethink my likes and dislikes. I went there just recently with plain clothes with others, and when they served the food after so long, they just left and left us without cutleries. How am I supposed to eat it? We were wearing worked clothes at that time. A field uniform that was not fancy but clean. And they looked at us as if we didn't have the capacity to pay what we ordered. That's the worst experience. But after I paid them with my card, they were so polite to say thank you when we left the premises. As promised, I will put a review to that establishment, so here it is. Don't judge the book by its cover is an old saying, but I can't understand why seldom people...
Read moreThis restaurant continue to exceed my expectation on how small their portioning, yet priced so expensively.
I should have learned my lesson when I ordered full Beef Caldereta (Php 799) and it arriving with portioning so small, that it is not enough for 1 person decent meal (2 small chunks of meat?? Seriously??)
If this is a fine dining restaurant with unique and special taste experience, I will forego this issue. But your food is nothing but the usual. Try going to Proviciano Restaurant in Maligaya, Diliman and you can see how low you are in the pyramid of experience, portioning, and taste.
These are pics of another delivery proving the consistency of this feedback. And this is my last...
