I ordered ONE specific item—R&B Milk Tea via Grab from Shakey’s R&B. That’s the only thing I wanted, and that’s the only reason I ordered from them. Shortly after, the manager calls me saying it’s not available anymore.

So I said, “Okay, can you just cancel the order?” (since there’s nothing else I want from the menu). But instead of doing the decent thing, the manager says they can’t cancel—despite being the one who can’t fulfill the order in the first place.

So I calmly said, “Alright then, since I’m paying anyway, just give me whatever you have and I’ll request a refund from Grab after.”

When the drink arrived, I was absolutely shocked. The milk tea they sent me had burnt, pasty boba that was no longer round—it was literally like a glob of scorched goo stuck at the bottom. It looked (and felt) like it had been scraped from the burnt bottom of the pan. The drink tasted terrible, and worst of all—it made my stomach hurt.

This felt intentional. I honestly think they sabotaged the drink on purpose because I dared to ask for a refund. If this was a random mistake, then it’s already bad enough. But if a MANAGER authorized serving unsafe, low-quality food out of spite? That’s disgusting and dangerous.

Dear Shakey’s and R&B Milk Tea—if you list something on the menu, you’re responsible for either fulfilling it or offering proper alternatives. Not gaslighting the customer and sending spoiled products out of revenge.

i been there to place an order for take out and i think that was last week. ordered of super bunch of lunch and 2pcs. chicken with rice. and also i availed the free pizza becaused it was my birth month. then when i got home when i open it it was a corn soup. I ignored na lang dahil im very hungry na.

then now i ordered thru food panda with choice of mushroom soup again. but how come it still corn soup na naman.... im very dissapointed na talaga... ok lang naman i informed kung not available para di akoo...
