Glad they reopened again because this branch's location is very convenient and it's never crowded (even on weekends). The only complaint I have with this branch is that everything is slow. I waste so much time waiting here, most especially during my recent visit.
First stop was the membership booth because I had to renew my membership. I asked them if I could renew the card but they directed me to fill out the form on the iPad, which took really long because I had to manually input details (including my credit card details). When I finished, I had to wait for them to call me but I noticed they were assisting a family who just approached them to renew their cards. I had to wait extra long because they also let 2 seniors go ahead of me. I asked them also about my supplementary card because I didn't bring it, but the girl just told me to wait for my turn. Ended up with no explanation and they just kept asking me where the supplementary card was. I hope there were more people assisting by the iPads too because families would crowd over 1 iPad and we'd have to check which iPads are available.
Next stop was the food section. I feel like they're understaffed here since there are so many counters but only 2 counters are opened. I visited on a Saturday afternoon and I had to queue for 15 minutes just to place my order. I asked the cashier if I had to wait for the burger steak and she said no because they're already packing it so I decided to order that since I was hungry. I ended up waiting for over 5 minutes and what irritated me the most was when I called the attention of the man in red (I'm not sure if those in red are the managers/ supervisors), and he just looked at me when I followed up my order. I understand he was attending to something else, but he just looked at me and waited for someone else to assist me. Read moreWe went there on a Tuesday & there were lots of parking available (1st 3 hrs free). Guards, Tellers, Store promodizers, etc all very helpful & friendly. This time, I was more careful with the prices. They still have a lot of items here that are discounted. But the price of the Milkis that is expiring is supposed to be php69 each but I was still charged php79. Do I need to get the tags everytime??? They also have Pond's cold cream at php54 only coz the labels were broken. I was very careful with the price of this coz it costs php400+ & I got 3 bottles. All in all, I was already happy with this store experience. & Teller was very careful (the Milkis aside... I think I really need to get the tags next time!!!). However, the Twinkle Silver Polish I got seemed to have been lessened by 30g. Last time, I bought the Twinkle Copper Cleaning & they were both supposed to have the same weight but the Twinkle Silver Polish is lighter by 30g & the sponge was stuck to the paste which is half the size of the container. I simply asked if there’s any way to get the model and serial number of the AC we purchased back in 2022 because I urgently need it for warranty purposes. I explained clearly that no one is at home right now to physically check the unit, but I have the official receipt and invoice ready.
Instead of helping, I was passed around to three different people, kept on hold for too long, and in the end was told there’s no way to retrieve the information — not even from their system or database/records. I finally spoke with Lei Dacanay from the non-food department, but I still didn’t get any support. I even mentioned that I’m a former employee, hoping for some understanding, but sadly it made no difference.
