They have poor quality control in food serving. The seem like they just do it for the sake of having a salary. Very inconsistent. Food serving was mediocre in serving size. Like the cup of fried rice was almost just rushed to be filled and just dump so quickly they didn't realize it was only almost just half the serving size. Even the tapa is so sparingly portioned, like putting in a serving of 2 tablespoon of tapa and intentionally spreading it as much as the chef can to cover the plate. It's a clear 70% portion size of what the Cubao branch is usually serving. The quality is really poor. For 155 and a rice 40?? Its more comparable to a 85 pesos meal. The chicharon meal is 190 for a few specs (7-8 small pcs?) of chicaron bituka. You're better off buying it in the street vendors with more serving. The meals are PURE SCAM (WASTE OF MONEY!!) like the chef is or the server is just out of focus (flying in the clouds) and passionless. They can either replace the chef or retrain the serving staff for 1 month. I don't even know if they have quality standards anymore but the management needs to look at consistency aspect and not just ride on the initial fame of Tapsi ni Vivian. Much better to just close down entirely and rethink the process...
Read moreIt was not our first time to visit this place because of its accessability. We only ordered their signature tapsilog during our previous visits though. But last night we decided to eat here since it's already 10 pm and we had not taken out dinner yet. And for a change, we wanted to try the dishes served in their cafeteria, the "turo-turo" style. I can say that the ambiance was nice, but the service and the foods served were not okay. It took 15 mins for them to serve the dishes that we ordered which could have been served right away after ordering and paying for them in the counter. The pinakbet was already spoiled and it had its hint of foul smell. The pork bbq was not fresh and it was hard to chew. The igado and bicol express were so-so. Plus, the fresh buko only had juice and no buko or coconut meat in it when opened. Overall, it was an unpleasant experience. We will never return in this...
