✍️ Coffee Project Visit Review
📅 Date & Time of Visit Visited on a weekday evening in June 2025.
👥 Purpose of Visit Casual dinner and catch-up with a friend.
📍 Location & Accessibility Coffee Project is conveniently located inside a lifestyle complex, easily identifiable near the “DIGITAL WALKER” store. The surrounding area is a mix of retail outlets and lush landscaping, creating a pleasant and relaxed vibe. The café’s front glass doors are clearly branded, making the entrance easy to spot.
🚗 Parking & Exterior Environment The complex offers ample parking spaces, making it hassle-free for those driving. The entrance features an elevator, making it accessible for everyone. The exterior design is inviting, with warm yellow walls, brick pillars, and plenty of greenery adding to a charming, rustic appeal.
🏠 First Impression from Outside The building’s Mediterranean-inspired architecture, with exposed brick and arches, gives off a cozy and slightly upscale look. It feels like stepping into a quiet European plaza, despite being in a commercial area.
🏡 Interior Ambience & Comfort Walking inside, I was immediately struck by the rich and decorative floral interior. Hanging plants, floral arrangements, and soft warm lighting give the space a romantic and whimsical garden-like atmosphere. The seating is varied and well-spaced, offering both communal tables and more private corners. Air conditioning was well-regulated, and the lighting struck a perfect balance between cozy and functional. Overall, very comfortable for long conversations or quiet reading.
🚻 Restroom There’s no restroom inside the café itself, but guests can access the mall’s public restrooms, which were clean and easily accessible.
🧑🍳 Staff & Service The staff greeted us with a smile and were helpful when we asked about the menu. Service was fast and efficient, and they made us feel welcome without being overbearing.
📖 Menu Variety The café offers a wide range of options—from full meals to cakes, pastries, and beverages. The wall-mounted menu is clear and easy to read, with accompanying photos that help in making decisions. It’s a well-balanced selection catering to both casual diners and coffee lovers.
🍽️ Food Review • Grilled Pork with Rice The pork was grilled to perfection, with a slightly crisp exterior and tender inside. It was topped with a fresh tomato and onion salsa that added a zesty balance to the savory meat. The side of vegetables—broccoli, green beans, and carrots—were lightly blanched, retaining both color and crunch. The rice was well-cooked and subtly seasoned. • Fried Chicken with Garlic Rice This dish came with a crispy fried chicken leg that was juicy on the inside. The garlic rice was flavorful but not overpowering, complementing the chicken nicely. The side cup of pickled vegetables was a nice touch, providing a refreshing contrast.
💰 Price & Value Meals were priced around 300–400 PHP per person (~$6–8 USD), which felt fair considering the quality of food, service, and ambience. No additional service charges were added, making it great value overall.
✅ Overall Impression & Recommendation • Overall Rating: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️☆ (4.5/5) • Would I Return? Definitely. • Best For: Couples, friends catching up, solo diners, and digital nomads looking for a scenic spot to work. The interior design also makes it ideal for...
Read moreI would have given this place probably a 4 or 5 stars. However, I value sanitation especially if your establishment is all about food services.
Indeed, Coffee Project has been a go to place for those who loves drinking coffee to chill and for those people who loves taking photos (e.g. selfie, groupie, etc.). But there's one thing that's really consistent of their place: poor service and dining experience. You might be wondering why I said that. Well, I've been to few of their locations and how they serve the food and accomodate their clients are the same. They served the food so slow and imagine that they've got tons of tables that's uncleaned.
Take note, they're not fine dining, hence it's expected that it will be a lot quicker to serve. Then, from the moment we reached the entrance until we entered there are tons of leftover cups, saucers etc still seating on the tables. Hence, it was too tough finding a seat. I just want to highlight that it's pandemic, therefore there isn't much of people going out. I even observed how long it will take them to clean it up as there are flies already. But my gosh, it's almost an hour. And there isn't any customers going in, so we expect that they'll start cleaning up. Too bad I don't have the evidence because I got fed up with their service. They tend to chitchat more than keeping up with their customer experience.
Guess, once is enough for this place. Well, I just hope you'll improve next time as this is something that we, customers are more concerned especially during...
Read morePlace is nice, rustic, and in great location. Ordered continental breakfast and french toast, nothing special. Beef tapa's meat was hard to chew. Salted caramel chocolate cake was excellent. Staff needs more training, cannot differentiate omelette from a scrambled egg. When serving food items, food was left on the tray, not handed to guest and was eager to leave. Called staff to request to clear table, I was thinking he was to get a tray, but never came back. All these on a not-so-busy hour. This establishment needs to work on their customer service, the staff makes...
