We decided to have lunch yesterday at Max's and after the experience and observation I had throughout our stay during lunch service, I felt obliged to write this review as it is the very least I can do for them in return. We came in for lunch early and there were just 2 tables occupied at that time so there was this one guy in a gray shirt who took our order like in any normal day. The place started to fill up pretty quick and I noticed that the staff started to become busy moving here and there. I noticed the guy in the gray shirt seems to be the busiest as he moves faster taking orders, bringing food, etc. What I found remarkable about the situation is that despite being busy, he was very observant and made sure to check with the diners if he noticed something seems to be missing or simply by the facial expression. Believe me, I have some weird strong hearing senses and have overheard some of the conversations pertaining to dining concerns during that time. Heck, I even heard some conversations in the kitchen since we were seated near front of the kitchen's entrance. All the staff were smiling despite that busy timeline and all of them were very attentive and helpful but this guy in the gray shirt really went above and beyond. Going between the kitchen and dining area back and forth and spending a few seconds to talk to one random other staff occassionally. When we were about to leave I asked one of their staff whom I came across for his name and she said, "ah yung may salamin po? Manager po namin yon si sir Joseph." With that information at hand, I would like to say kudos to the service team for being very reliable and the kichen staff for serving us fresh and delicious food (wasn't able to take a photo of the other dishes since the kids started digging in) and a huge shout out to their manager, Joseph for leading by example. He walks the talk and is not letting his position interfere with his actions which is unfortunately rare in all my experiences. I couldn't ask for more but hope to encounter more people like him. We will...
Read moreI would rate only the waitress' service dyan sa Max's - SM San Jose Del Monte branch. Yung isa dyan, kung ayaw niya magserve ng tama. Wag siya magwaitress. 4x na akong inignore ng 1 waitress dyan. Eh hindi naman matao nung pumasok ako there's no way na ganun sya kabusy.
4th - magbibill out nako, di parin ako pinansin mas inuna pa yung kakaupo palang na customers.
Pls hire waitress with good etiquette, panira sya sa image ng Max's restaurant. Matagal ng established ang restaurant ng Max's and kilala sa good customer service since when I was in my schooling age. Kung ayaw niya magwork ng maayos, maraming may kelangan ng work at pinagbubutihan ang work. Di katulad niyang 1 waitress dyan. Magbibigay lang ng menu di pa magawa, eh diba matic yan pag may customer? Pati bill out ayaw din mamansin. Paano nalang nuh kung sya lang visible na...
Read moreI can say that we had a great experience at Max's Restaurant. Our family is from the lower middle class, so we can't afford to eat at expensive restaurants like Max's Restaurant, but since it's my mom's birthday, we thought of trying to eat here and I can say that we didn't regret it. The food was delicious and worth what we paid for. The staff were friendly too, they even offered to take pictures of us so we could have a...
