Went here for lunch with my family. We immediately loved the early Spanish era interior and exterior of the house. We were accompanied by my Sisters husband which is a Turkish, so it was a bonus for us to show him an old ancestral house setup. The place was pet friendly, two of our dogs was just roaming around the dinning area (it was just us when we went there). They are giving out kropek appetizer accompanied with their knhouse sweet vinegar which was amazingly delicious. We ordered their beef brocolli, boneless bangus, lumpiang shanghai, bulalo, sisig, chopsuey, and spring chicken. Typical filipino taste. What I would recommend are their Shanghai and Bulalo. Their Bulalo was really delicious and unique with their own style of cooking. If i’ll be dining back here again, I’ll definitely get their Bulalo again. I wont recommend their chopsuy because it wasn’t that tasty, and their beef broccoli beef because it was too salty. Overall, will be back here again. Highly recommended when youre in the area.

AMBIENCE Parking is along the street and restaurant is on the second floor of what looks like an old, Spanish house positioned at a corner location. They played background music once we were seated and golden Tiffany chairs plus metallic tables with simple table cloths were everywhere. As decoration, they had little lamps (possibly made of capiz) and white plus golden leaves. It's like the restaurant is meant to be an events place. FOOD Free kropek (fried prawn crackers) were served and we received plenty! Liempo was not available so we got Lechon Kawali, Shanghai Spring Roll, and Chopsuey. Everything was typically good and my top choice is between the Shanghai Spring Roll and Chopsuey. Serving sizes are intended for sharing. SERVICE Wait time was fair and staffers were friendly. They just need to clean tables better because ours had ants consuming leftover food bits.

Head to the San Juan center for dinner after a day swimming, the kids are excited to eat. We ordered Pork Sisig a but spicy but its nit oily which i like. The lemon chicken and teriyaki was satisfying. We enjoy all the food and their lemon tea. I’ll recommend to try this restaurant.

If you're looking for Filipino food, Nuevo Comedor is an option. The old traditional Filipino house ambiance is really good! It's very breezy and laid back. We ordered Kare Kare (beef with oxtail meat), barbecue (really great!), and grilled tuna. Though the tuna is not fresh and the Kare Kare is okay, but the barbecue and their homemade iced tea is a must.

They have the friendliest and most chill staff, they let us dine with our 2 big dogs without any...
